Went here once, and thought food was OK. I had the red beans and rice and it was a little on the dry side. And yes, I know what good red beans and rice look and taste like (I've been to the Silver Moon across LSU). It seemed a little overpriced for the serving size. It came with hush puppies, which were slightly brunt. And their hours seem a little odd to me (only open a couple days a week).

This is a place where everybody knows your name... or if they don't, the will by the time you leave. My nephew (7) requested we come here for breakfast after a hard night of pokemon playing. He said they knew him. I got my pancakes (special requested extra thin) and bacon. My pancakes were thin! The chef/owner inquired (from his kitchen and over the bar) if they were ok. Yep! The paintings/posters on the wall are, well, interesting. Perhaps a bit fetishistic but certainly interesting. (not fetishistic in an overtly kinky way though so don't worry about that.) You'll see what I mean. You know it is a hole in the wall so I am sure you can picture the decor. I felt very welcomed here and taken care of. Food was good and I will go back!
