Things have been going downhill at Crazy Wok…
We’ve been getting take out here regularly for years, but the quality of food and service has been going down lately.
Not open reliably
We went to buy takeout on Friday around 3:30pm, during their posted open hours. We figured they weren’t answering the phone because they were busy… Nope. They had the open sign posted but the doors were locked. People were in the kitchen but no one answered the door. No signs were posted about the unexpected closure…
They don’t regularly update their Facebook page when their hours change. They don’t have a voicemail with hours or updates when they’re unexpectedly closed; they don’t even have a voicemail greeting saying you’ve reached the right number for Crazy Wok.
About the food (be picky)
My partner loves the chicken teriyaki and it’s reliably good…
The chicken lo mein is decent, but they use a really fatty cut of meat for pork lo mein that is unpleasant to eat. Both versions are more oily than usual.
If you like your yakisoba sauce to be thick and caramelized on the noodles you need to go elsewhere. The sauce at Crazy Wok is more like flavored water with an oil slick on top. Maybe they’re using the stir-fry sauce?
The almond chicken is also unpleasant.
When I come here I eat one of two dishes for a good experience: orange chicken (usually good, it’s only been overcooked once) and chicken lo mein. Everything else I’ve tried either has the wrong flavors or consistency and I’ve tried most things on the menu.
It would take very little to get this rating up. Mainly, improved quality and reliable posted hours.

Food was pretty decent, I mean if I got what I ordered instead of something else but I guess that's what I get for not checking it before I left. And to top it off. It was a bit pricey for the portions and without a drink but they don't so fountain drinks so you end up buying a bottle of soda for almost double what it goes for in store 🤦♂️😢

Passing through on our move back to CA. Food is really good and friendly service. Portion size is good as well, not too pricey either. Miso soup is delicious! Thank you Crazy Wok, we were tired and hungry!

Sad to say the orange chicken and the chicken and broccoli was all so incredibly disappointing. Chicken and broccoli was in literal soup and smelled awful. Orange chicken is usually quite appetizing, but not this time around. We threw everything away without eating it and wasted $50.
Great food and quick service huge portions

The owner is super friendly. This is my favorite Teriyaki restaurant in town. Food portions are great. My favorite is the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. Definitely recommend, especially to those who enjoy some spice in their meal. If spice isn't your thing, the regular Teriyaki is an option too.

We happened to be in town and went here on a whim. One of our best decisions the food here was absolutely phenomenal. Even when we showed up close to closing time. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

We were in Ellensburg visiting family and decided to swing in a try CrazyWok out. Best decision we've made as far as dining in quite some time !!
Wife and I order the chicken teriyaki kids had lo mein brother had the teriyaki bowl. All of which were FIRE !!! We have for sure found our mid state place to eat. The cashier/ server went out of her way to make sure we were happy . This big man in the kitchen cooking absolutely killed it !! It was so good we bought a bottle of the house teriyaki sauce. Thank you again for the amazing dinner and look forward to our next trip across the state.
Keep it up y'all !!!

Good food, slow service. I'm a patient person but it took them 53 minutes to bring the food out, which strikes me as unreasonably long. On the plus side, the food tasted great and was fresh. And the workers there were friendly and attentive, albeit overwhelmed.

My wife had the beef yakisoba. It was alright, Just not normal to have carrots in yakisoba and the noodles were to drenched in its sauce. I had the combo fired rice. This included chicken, beef, and shrimp. The fried rice was really good, just slightly salty. I would have given 4 stars, but found a hair in my food while putting it in the to go box.

Here's one of my go-to stops, and I highly recommend placing your order 20-45 minutes in advance. The staff is friendly, and the food is truly exceptional. Highly recommend Spicy Orange
