We have had brunch at Hayday many times before. But this weekend will be the last time for us to return. This time we sat inside and had a close observation and direct interaction with the owner. We felt the owner was judging us the entire time (We stayed for 2 hours, and spent close to $40 for two drinks, and food). We had a sense of a negative vibe, so we left. We heard some college professors were kicked out by the owner previously, although they spent quite a bit on drinks. The good side is the waitresses and the waitors were always super nice, to us as always. Good luck to Hayday!!

Great atmosphere and a Beautiful place. Food is only ok. It’s all premade sitting in a case and Costco ingredients and they will just put your heated up food on the counter when done, so don’t go outside. Good price, potential, and location.

Ordered 5 pies for a birthday party. The bakers made sure to bake the flavors we needed. The pies were a huge hit with everyone. Exceptional quality. Tasted like Mom’s homemade pies. Highly recommend.

Stopped in while passing thru from out of town. Coffees were really, really good. House made syrups and chai. Had the sun dried tomato panini and it was bomb. Service was excellent.

This is a little gem in Ellensburg. Stumbled here in a walk and their breakfast quick eats were delicious. Try their Ice Tea with a candied lemon if you like ice tea
Key lime pie was like my moms. Very silky and not too tart. Stuffed breakfast croissant was stupendous. We were split on the strawberry cream pie but it was definitely worth trying.
