Has a great lunch special and the food is usually consistently good. They also provide chips and salsa for free when ordering takeout. Great people work here and they are exceptional when it comes to customer service.
The service, quality of the food, and value were all excellent. The restaurant itself seemed tired and worn, but if you're looking for good food with humble settings you won't be disappointed. The highlights: Chips were warm, salsas tasted homemade and fresh (on the spicy side, but flavorful). I ordered the chicken taco salad. The only greasy part, and I wouldn't call it greasy as such just fried, was the yummy deep fried bowl that it come in. The chicken was spiced...
Have eaten there twice. Both times service was outstanding, food delivered remarkably fast, hot and very tasty. Better flavor - beef and then chicken chimichanga, Refried beans and Spanish rice - than most Mexican restaurants. Prices are good. Only negative is last time I was rushed as the server said they were closing in 25 minutes after I arrived (9:00 pm) even though time on the door said 9:30.
