I’m a little surprised by the low rating The Rafters Smokehouse has. I felt like the food was better than to be expected up in the mountain. Staff is SO friendly. If you go during the lunch rush hour, you’re gonna have to wait awhile. From my two days on the mountain I’ve noticed that this place is busy from 12-1:45. This place is just okay. Obviously it’s part of the mountain and part of the experience. Typical apres ski bar with subpar food. HOWEVER, their nachos are BOMB. I’ve taken plenty of pictures to document them. Besides the good nachos, the service is pretty bad. The remainder of the food is par at best. They do offer a good atmosphere for apres ski beers though.
