Fantastic smash style burger, caramelized and crispy. Ordered The Big Rig without a bun for a gluten free burger. The pickled onions were a tasty side and the thousand island style sauce was tangy.

My wife and son were raving about this place. I was looking forward to having their burger. I ordered a double patty burger and here's what I think... 1. The burger was so smashed that as thin as a piece of cardboard. Even though there were two patties, when you looked at the burger from a side view, it barely looked like even one burger. I know it's a smash burger, but it was smashed beyond recognition. 2. The burger went far outside of the bun (because it was over smashed?) and was basically a crispy wafer. Would seem to make more sense to smash it less and have some actual bite in the sandwich. 3. The pickles were sweet. Ugh. 4. The sauce was sweet? Or maybe that was just more of the pickle... I don't know. 5. The bun was not toasted... it was cold. I got the burger the moment it was done, took it into the bar, and started eating. Do they not toast the bun at all? 6. The fries were luke warm at best.
On the bright side, the bar was a great atmosphere and the Pale Ale was good. Was thinking this could be a place I can return to. I will go back to have another burger there, and I'm going to ask them to not kill the burger with the smash, leave the pickles off, leave the sauce off, and toast the bun.
I love burgers. Five Guys and Habit are much better than what I got at this food truck.
