It's always a gamble with these classic diners, but my family and I could not have been happier with our first visit this week. We had a collection of breakfast and dinner items and they were all delicious. Huge portions, friendly staff and tasted great. We will be back!

We met my father-in-law for breakfast. They waitress was friendly, they restaurant was clean and the food was delicious with large portions. They have a variety of food on the menu from breakfast items to burgers. We chatted for awhile after we finished eating and didn't feel pressured to leave.

My husband and I went to the Krain today for lunch sat down table was dirty. Waited for a good 15 minutes before someone came to see what we wanted to drink got the menus, waiting for someone to come back to take our order. We had been sitting there for a good 20 minutes And another person came in like 15 minutes after us and immediately went and helped him took his order. He got his food first we sat there for another 15 minutes before we received our bowl of soup and a BLT mind you it was supposed to be two bowls of soup , my husband received a cup with a flat BLT sandwich. They didn’t even ask what kind of bread he wanted how he wanted the bacon cooked when she came back sat the plate down left. We never seen her until we were done eating check on us the sandwich had unripe Tomato, a thin piece of lettuce, overcooked, and undercooked bacon I’m telling you we will never go back to the Krain ever again and we live right down the street from there. The place has gone downhill I would say in the last five years keep wanting to go back because we used to think the food was good now I will never go back in that restaurant ever again poor service, poor food Poor environment

Drove from Nevada to visit Enumclaw and found this cute little place to eat and boy did I not regret! The food was so good for breakfast I had to go back for dinner and was not disappointed! The food is so good along with their bakery. Cookies only for a dollar and homemade you can’t beat that!Kid-friendliness: Had kid menus and brought crayons for little one to color

What a great little restaurant in a historic building, situated among the fields and woods North of Enumclaw. The outside is rustic and simple, but inside there are three rooms for dining and a wonderful wait-staff to take care of you. We went for Saturday Breakfast, and the place was full- up . We got seated right away, and started off with a couple of Bloody Marys, which were ample and delicious. The Breakfast portions were large, and we were well satisfied with the "lighter portions" which were available for most of the breakfasts. My wife had the traditional breakfast and I had the eggs benedict, and the meal was perfect. We grabbed a Cinnimon Roll out of the Bakery before we left, and ww will definitely be back!
