The Snorting Elk Cellar Bar & Deli offers a cozy and laid-back atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The bar features old-school ski decor, a massive fireplace, and serves decent bar food from the attached deli, including a delicious hot pretzel and a well-proportioned turkey BLT. This establishment is located within the Alpine Inn and is an infamous old-school apres spot to visit after a long day of skiing. The deli in the back serves outstanding food, and it's a required visit for those who ski and/or stay at Crystal Mountain. The restaurant has outdoor seating with lots of tables and chairs, both inside and out. Customers can enjoy Bloody Marys, spicy and delicious, and the artichoke dip, which is epic. The Mac and cheese is also a favorite, and the restaurant has a cozy ski resort atmosphere.
