Love the bar to death.
That said, I got food poisoning from the Snorting Elk Deli and it ruined my Christmas ski trip.

The food was delicious! Had a bacon cheese burger on a ciabatta bun, and the veggies were freshly cut. For dessert, the brownie Sunday was awesome as well.

Food is really mediocre and our waiter Josh was barely available. We had to wait for quite a few minutes to get our water refilled or get a to go box and the bill while the room is far from half full. The Asian girl works there is nice though and she apologized for Josh’s mistake while Josh himself didn’t.

Ordered nachos, they were not ready when the group's meals arrived. Everyone finished, still no nachos and one guest went without a meal. No refund or credit was offered.

Where can you go skiing at a premiere mountain resort and then settle into a cozy bar for good food and this kind of atmosphere?It's definitely a destination for both activity and relaxation.

Very Hot Latina wait staff!!!
Come for the atmosphere! Old school apres ski bar. Self-seating, ordering, watering. Super chill and laid back. Decent bar food from the attached deli, fun old school decor that reminds you to respect the mountain, and a massive fireplace that warms you up if the drinks don’t do it.
