It's not the greatest experience. I ordered a Veggie Delight with cucumber, lettuce, avocado, onion, and bell pepper. The guy making my sandwich gave me *five* slices of cucumber and maybe *four* tiny slices of bell pepper. When I politely asked for more cucumber, he literally gave me *one* extra slice.

This has been a consistent issue across multiple Subway locations — the staff act like they’re rationing veggies like it’s the apocalypse. From what I understand, one of Subway’s selling points used to be that you could load up on as many veggies as you want. Clearly, not anymore.

Spending $10+ for a sandwich that’s basically bread with a sprinkle of toppings is ridiculous. No wonder Subway locations are closing left and right. Between the skimpy portions, the declining food quality, and the overall “we’re doing you a favor” attitude, it’s no surprise that customers are moving on to better options.

We won’t be coming back.

So I’ve never left a review before in my 26 years of life but felt the need for this one. I went into the enumclaw subway and told there was an hour wait time due to online orders, so I said “oh jeez okay I’ll come back later” and was told not to even bother. And honestly I don’t blame the guy he’s fed up, he is there working alone and has been working alone the last 4 times I have been in there in the last 2 months during rush hours. The owner of this shop needs to do better, the one guy working alone isn’t even a manager he’s just a crew member and does not have a serve safe which is required now to be working in a restaurant alone and or running a shift (I asked him a few questions to find out this info) This is very poor conditions for the worker and really says a lot about the owner. Worst experience I have had at any food place ever and this subway should be handed back to the corporate company as the new owner should not be able to own a Buisness if that’s the way they are running it

How the hell do you have a 20 minute wait at Subway? I was told due to online orders I would have to wait 20 minutes when I walked in. Hire more workers! This place used to be so much better.

So, I've said some nice things about subway before, but that was for a specific shop, in a different state, with a different owner.
Obviously, that makes a BIG difference. As to Kaylee's comment below, this shop does not appear to be managed, by anyone.
Single employee, too withdrawn to be described as sullen, no eye contact, no greeting or even acknowledgement of anyone in the short line. Moving slowly vs. very heavily medicated - couldn't tell which - but not into this job at all. The guys in front of me were friendly, cordial, but got the same nonresponse, so I think this was just the vibe for this worker.
Out of Italian bread, the primary ingredient of your only product, and the alternative - Italian herbs and cheese - dry and stale. And nothing baking in the oven, so I guess that was it for the day. (By the way, this was 2:00 in the afternoon - lunchtime). The lettuce was old and dry, more like cabbage, but the tomatoes were OK.
No acknowledgement from the server on the way out, not even a head nod.

While the food is good and the service is ok. As a previous employee some questions have raised as I ordered online. One I orders a salad. When I was working there we had to chop up everything that went into the salad and when I got mine nothing was chopped making it hard to eat. Whole pieces of bacon, cheese and veggies where not the vibe for my salad. Second when o worked there even for pick up orders we greeted each customer as they walked in, when I walked in NO ONE even acknowledged my presence. For all they knew I was someone stealing someone else's food. Just seems weird that this was my encounter this time. I called to see if I could talk with a manager and was told there isn't one. Just curious on what's going on in this location. Seems like they are starting to go down hill from when I worked there.

6/20 update
Nothing changed I arrived to pickup a mobile order and someone walks in after me but what did they do? They stopped making the mobile order to the order if the person who walked in after me.

Poor service and they do not have their priorities in check.

Have to give this 1 star for service. They often don’t have food ready at the scheduled pickup tome and it’s usually a 8-10 minute wait after it! Honestly this is ridiculous but wait it gets worse… try coming in letting them know you’re there for a mobile pickup only for them to push your order aside for every customer that walks through the door after you and When you ask them to make your order they already got paid for it instead of making everyone’s order who walks in the door after you arrive you don’t get an apology.

Place just sucks to pickup from. Wish they knew how to multi task and actually do their job.

If I could NOT give even 1 stupid star....Sooooo one of the worst experiences ever for a business. And this is way more than just poor food or service. How about hiring my daughter and as she worked for 2 days...could not ...absolutely could not nor would not continue with this establishment as she has pictures from a group text of staff members while she was an employee, of food that has mold on it. Old food down inside the meat slicer. Veggies that were gross and old. So besides a health issue just to walk in the door...they did not pay her. Refuse to even respond or acknowledge her employed there. I went in after 3 weeks of her attempting to aquite the moneys owed to her and was passed off by the owner gal as garbage. She never bothered to respond or reach out to this day. Its been a few months now. Thus establishment should be shut down for real...the health hazards are outrageous. Someone is gonna get sick from eating there.

I was disappointed by my first Subway experience here in Enumclaw. My boyfriend and I ordered online 20 minutes or so before walking in and thankfully it was ready by the time we got there. However, the employee seemed standoffish and had no real customer-minded attitude. I get that this is a fast food restaurant, but a little more care would have been nice. Also, I didn’t feel the most safe in this restaurant. While we ordered a cookie and drink in addition, a man came in and sat down. I glanced over once and saw him staring at me or at least made eye contact with me. After we paid and sat for a bit he walked up to the counter to order and held his sweatshirt over his face the entire time. We both thought it was odd and I was a little creeped out by it. Finally, once we had left and returned home to eat I noticed that our churro was not included in our order, which was upsetting because I was looking forward to eating it. Overall, this was not a great experience sadly. Although I love Subway, this experience will likely deter me from eating at this location again.
