It was a little cold inside for my liking. But the food was so good. The only place I will go for sushi while I'm in Washington.

Rating 1 star as a delivery driver because this store does not always set accurate pickup times for us. Often times I’m told to pickup but a specific time only for staff to tell me it’s not scheduled to be made fit another 10-15 minutes, this is s complete waste of time for delivery drivers.

I was very disappointed with this sushi restaurant. I think the owner was hoping for a sports bar but ended up with sushi? Pop/rap music playing and 2 tvs with sports playing doesn't exactly lend itself to a sushi vibe. It smelled strongly of fish when you first walked in, much like a Long John Silvers might. FRESH sushi doesn't smell like this. My mom ended up having GI/digestive issues that night and went to the ER 2 days later. I definitely won't be returning.

I love this place!! I order for lunch as often as I can and never disappointed. Super tasty and good for you too! ;)

A hot spot in the area with its nice decor and welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions, don't be shy to ask them for their favorites. While the menu focuses more on cooked seafood instead of raw fish, the rolls are tasty and offer something for everyone. Good for those who prefer their seafood cooked but still want a sushi experience. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

No place to park. Pick up orders are seldom ready on time.

I wish they had slightly fresher fish and more rolls that weren't covered in panko or fried, but the great service and happy hour makes this place an easy pick when it comes to eating out. The servers and chefs are all so friendly they make coming there a great experience. Steve was great!

Wow. These guys are amazing. First time to a Trappers, and it's incredible. They handled my fiancés shell fish allergy with the utmost care, safety, and professionalism. Every roll she ordered, they made sure to avoid any cross contamination as a whole team effort. The food was a 10/10. Best sushi we have had in a VERY VERY long time. The all you can eat bar was awesome. Everything you order is made right in front of you all while they are very professional, friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable.Offering suggestions and making custom rolls for us.Something to be said when you can tell the people that are making your food love their job and are enjoying what they do.We will for sure be coming back every time we visit.

Everything about my lunch here was great, except the water. The food was good, the staff were attentive, the interior and the tea were both just the right temperatures, but something about the water... I can't put my finger on what the taste was, but it's something I've tasted before. Maybe there's something wrong with the pipes, maybe it's something wrong with the cups, but for some reason, the water had me regretting saving it for the end of the meal. If they can figure out that issue, they would get that one star back.

Ordered takeout, a couple rolls and 2 orders of vegetable tempura. The tempura sauce was missing on both orders, which made for a very disappointing half of the meal.

The sushi was safe to eat. It was not tasty. Lots of mayonnaise type rolls, the sashimi and nigiri cuts were not up to standard. The "Trump Roll" seemed popular and I heard several tables order it, but I didn't like it.The wait staff was very friendly and attentive though. Could have done without the TVs over the bar.

Another great experience at Trapper's, this time in Enumclaw. This is a smaller, more intimate restaurant, with a nod to Japanese atmosphere, and the the same excellent service and food we have had before in Bonney Lake!As usual, we were greeted warmly, treated very nicely, and seated right away. Staff here are routinely very nice all across the boardOur waiter, Blaine, was very friendly and took great care of us, and provided great service.Sashimi appetizer was fresh, with ample slices of fresh tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, and served on a bed of seared octopus, with seaweed salad - delicious! The shrimp tempura was crisp and delicate, and this time tried the long roll Variety Special. The Trapper, Buddha, Mt. Rainier, and Mountain rolls, even halved, were great and I was stuffed! Trapper's offers and All you can eat option - but where would I go from here!Once again, great service and really good food. Trapper's is now in heavy rotation for our meals.

Trapper’s is for people who either hate themselves or don’t know what else is out there. It’s edible, but awful. You swallow it so it doesn’t sit on your tongue. Bland, milquetoast, boring, and flavorless. Like the fish had no will to live in the first place. I’ve tried rolls a few times in two different locations, just to see if it was an off day or if there’s a preferred location. Nope.
