May 31st 3:00 pm shift
Girl in the black Nike shirt and the guy on shift gave a Carmel frape that tasted like water. As a barista I know that when you blend the Carmel drink if you don’t add enough to the blending mixture it comes out tasting like water no matter how much drizzle u add. A lot of the Starbucks employees at this location have an issue of making Carmel frappes like this prob bc no one trains them properly but, bc this was our usual we’ve delt with this issue a lot of not making it properly but every time we asked to fix it we get a kind response, until today.
The girl in the black Nike long sleeve looked like she was offended and kept rudely asking what was wrong with the drink and same with the guy on shift as well he was also being rude and was just saying we could add more Carmel on top but we wanted it remade.
After it was remade they said they gave double the Carmel to make up for the issue.

So we went from a water drink to a Carmel sludge drink.
These people do not know how to handle someone saying their drink is bad. Especially when it legit tastes like water!
Thanks for the 6 dollar sludge drink but better then water ig lmao

There are a few workers there in the mornings during the week who are on top of their game and do their job well. However, something about the weekend staff is completely abhorrent. I just witnessed a Starbucks worker stand there hiding until we left after 15 minutes of waiting. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Otherwise they're closing 30 minutes early saying they "have to clean" even though I've been a barista before and know that customers come first while you clean after closing. It's just clear that a few staff don't care at all and it makes otherwise perfect staff look terrible

The Starbucks in Ephrata ticks all the boxes for a reliable coffee stop. It's spotless, conveniently located just off of the main drag, and delivers the consistent latte magic we've come to expect from Starbucks.Inside, spotless counters and tables gleam – they clearly take cleanliness seriously. The layout offers both cozy corners and open spaces, catering to solo sippers and social butterflies alike. My usual latte was the same as usual. Pure Starbucks – robust espresso balanced by creamy sweetness. Every sip was a familiar comfort, reminding me why this chain remains a coffee giant.Service was efficient and friendly – the baristas handled the morning rush with ease. No mind-blowing conversations or name-remembering feats, but they delivered my caffeine fix with a smile and a "have a great day."Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 for Ephrata's Starbucks. It's a clean, convenient haven for reliable coffee. Just don't expect personalized service or deep philosophical chats with your barista – stick to smaller shops for that.

Stopped on Sunday for a coffee and found doors locked during open hours. No sign posted as to reason store was locked. The drive through was open with a line of 12 cars. Ordered online thinking when we made it to the window the drink would be ready. At window they had the wrong drink and it took another wait in the line to get the right drink. Batista stated the manager left the store with only 2 workers on labor day weekend. They looked frazzled and tired. Not stopping at this particular Starbucks until a new manager is running a better work environment for his Baristas and customers. The manager needs to get it together and help out his Baristas!

Faucet in the bathroom is ineffective for washing hands. Not enough water flow. Sandwich was basically slid completely apart when it came out of the bag. Americano shots are burnt. People working there looked

Inexperienced staff, rude, severely understaffed and constantly closed, always someone behind the counter refusing to make your drink, came here 4 times in the past year was served only once by the sweetest barista, don't remember her name but she had a hearing aid, extremely polite, quick service, amazing personality, gave her a fat tip she deserves a raise, every one else however is just completely incompetent. I suggest going to the actual Starbucks less than a minute down the street.

The staff is nice. The coffee is just always overbrewed and burnt tasting.

Your lobby should never EVER be closed during open hours!
