The food was pretty good. Really enjoyed the sides. The brisket was kinda pot roasty but the pulled pork was delicious and the ribs were awesome. We had the mac and cheese and my daughter loved it. They are only open for dinner m-f and Saturday lunch. I would go back again and skip the brisket and just have ribs and the sides.. sauce is north Carolina style so it's tangy. No my favorite but it was good

I went not too long after they opened so no one was dining in yet but I got a rack of ribs and 1/2 pound of brisket, Mac and cheese and’s hush puppies for my self and my son and daughter in law. My mouth was watering just by the smell but the food! OMG sooo good and the meat was literally fall off the bone tender and delicious😋 I will definitely go back😁

RBU with pulled pork/chicken/slaw and baked beans. Good serving size and amazing flavor, just the right amount of heat. Counter service was good also, very polite and helpful.
Not happy with $1.50 for take out, but that was forgiven after the first bite.
Highly recommend!!

North Carolina BBQ (disclaimer: my favorite type). Family owned and operated serving ridiculously good food. Had brisket and sausage plate. Fries were skin on but crispy as compared to say Five Guys fries. Coleslaw excellent. Very friendly, helpful staff with timely service.
Parking: Park behind Betty Jean's entering off Regal and turning immediately after/ before Zip's, depending on your direction.

I have gone to this place several times now and really do consider it the best Smokehouse and BBQ joint in Spokane County! I, 10/10, recommend trying it out. The Owners Omar and Dee are hands down some of the nicest people you will ever meet! The story of their business is amazing to hear about from their perspective. They are a true family-run operation and service up authentic North Carolina cooking!
Now! The Food... it is fresh, succulent, and delicious! Their tacos aren't on the list of favorites you can include in this review but WOW! they are good! I am a huge fan of their brisket and pulled pork and like ordering the 3 meat option (the chicken is normally my other meat choice with the brisket and pork) and add sides. The Slaw, Okra and Beans are so good! while you're at it you have to order some of those hush puppies too!! The meat has a great flavor and you can enhance that with the sauce if you want but it isn't required to make the food taste good - their cooking does that on its own! I will have to find some pictures of food and add it to this review just so you know what you missed out on if you haven't allowed yourself the pleasure of dining here!
This place is AMAZING!

After years of searching for a decent bbq spot in Spokane, I found Betty Jeans. Hands down the most amazing bbq in town. I gave up the idea of ever finding a real bbq restaurant in town. This place went above and beyond any expectations I had. You have to try the hush puppies with the cinnamon butter!!!!!! So yummy!!
