Best Dive bar ever. Food is OK, but don’t come for the food, come for the atmosphere. Bartenders are fabulous, just ignore the salty locals by the front door

I come here all the time after riding mountain bikes. It's a great tavern with a cool vibe. To the reviews that mention bad service or issues with the food. Don't come to a tavern in a small town if you are expecting the typical overly nice bartenders/waiters and perfect food service. This is a throw some burgers on the grill and have your beer kind of spot. I love it.

Everyone at one point in their lives need to go check out the Frontier Tavern. It's been a staple in my world for over 20 years. The owners ( Alan and Kisa) are truly great people. Love them to death. The world is a better place with Tavern's like the Frontier. Go check it out.

A awesome little bar with a hundred years of history , it’s worth the stop to see , one of the best burgers I have ever had !! No lie and I eat a lot of burgers!! Very friendly people the service was great!! Again a great place to see👍👍👍👍👍

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but wow what a disappointment this was!

My friends and I were so excited to check this place out but were greeted with hostility.
The whole time the bartender was taking our orders, he was scowling. Told us that we should just order the same thing to make it easier. This was also after checking our IDs multiple times (even asking for expiration dates). We didn’t understand where the attitude came from. We were nothing but respectful and patient. We understood they were understaffed and were willing to wait. Never felt so unwelcome before so we decided to leave.

Do yourself a favor and check out small fryes! Awesome people there and they are generous with the servings!

The guy cooking didn't wash his hands before or during any of the cooking and he did touch all the food with his bare hands as he was serving it up. Gas station food is cheaper and better than here. The woman bartender was extremely rude and treated us like we didn't belong. Do not go there for the food. The place has potential because the style of it is fun. Unfortunately no clean cooking procedures, rude bartender, and terrible food.

The guy cooking didn't wash his hands before or during any of the cooking and he did touch all the food with his bare hands as he was serving it up. Gas station food is cheaper and better than here. The woman bartender was extremely rude and treated us like we didn't belong. Do not go there for the food. The place has potential because the style of it is fun. Truly awful experience. Stopped in one evening with my wife. The owner was sitting at the bar and was immediately hostile towards us. He continued to make racist remarks to us until we left halfway through our beers. An interaction that reminds you of the ugly out there in the world.
