I remember when the burgers were good. This place used to be 5 out of 5 stars, however, in recent years the quality of both service and food has dropped. Sad for a local burger place like this to loose its former luster.
I love this place. We eat here as often as we’re in town- at least yearly when we get our Christmas tree. Always delicious, hot, and reminds me of the old school burger shops when I was a kid. Don’t sleep on this one, the burgers, fries and shakes can’t be beat.
We usually stop here every time we go out this way and do drive thru the last few years. This time (Nov 2025) they asked if we wanted to leave tip in the drive thru of all things? Tipping culture is out of control, there's no true service at a drive thru. Pressuring a customer verbally with a tip request instead of it being presented an option in the receipt or pay terminal was very off putting. Despite the food being decent it's as pricey as eating in downtown Seattle...
