We came in on a Saturday morning and it took an hour for our food bc there is only (1) cook. So don’t come here if you’re super hungry.
Food was ok. Ordered Shrimp and grits her way, chicken and French toast and a hangover. The honey glazed on the chicken that came with the French toast was burnt, so we didn’t eat the chicken. French toast was good though. The food was good, nothing to rave about, just not worth an hour wait.
If it weren’t for the wait and our hunger maybe we would’ve had a different experience.
Nonetheless that’s why we write reviews to share our experience. The goal isn’t to vent but to help other diners know what to expect and maybe even give the owner something to improve on.

The food was delicious but the real win was the service! Friendly would be an understatement. We came for the first time today and look forward to our next visit! Ms. Michelle, Mr. Michelle and Mr. Michelle Jr.! 😂 Thank for a delicious breakfast and great service.
Amazing food! I did have to leave a quitter though lol

The food is great but the wait can be long. Always worth it. I've been on Saturdays tho the hours say they aren't open on Saturdays on maps? Idk about that.

I would like to share my recent experience at Lizzie Lous with the hope that it may provide constructive feedback for future improvement.
Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing, especially considering my intention to support a Black-owned business. My family and I chose to dine here for breakfast, as we were also exploring catering options for an upcoming event. However, the interaction with the owner, Ness, was less than satisfactory.
From the outset, the experience felt unwelcoming. When my mother inquired about catering availability, Ness responded in a manner that came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Despite my mother’s efforts to clarify the situation regarding the catering calendar on their website, Ness’s tone suggested irritation rather than a willingness to assist us.
As my mother pointed out the information on the website, it was concerning to witness Ness’s reaction. She questioned the validity of the website, despite it being clearly accessible and accurate. This exchange left us feeling undervalued as potential customers.
Unfortunately, the overall service did not reflect the quality we anticipated, and it was disheartening to feel that our interest in supporting the business was not reciprocated. I hope that future interactions can be more positive and welcoming, as there is potential for this establishment to thrive with improved customer service.

The hospitality at this establishment was exceptional. The personal interaction she has with her customers truly highlights her dedication, and her food is remarkable. The shrimp and grits were perfectly seasoned, offering a delightful melt-in-your-mouth experience with each bite. She utilizes real crab meat in her dishes, which adds to the richness of the flavors. The pancakes and French toast are absolutely irresistible, combining sweetness with a hint of savory. She even crafts her own homemade maple syrup, which is simply divine. Her commitment to using natural ingredients is evident in every dish, and she personally takes care of all the cooking. The food is definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant, and when I find myself in Seattle or its surroundings again, I will certainly visit Lizzy Lou's.

THE COOK WAS VERY KIND AND FRIENDLY TO ALL OF HER CUSTOMERS 😊 I AM A SOUTHERN BELLE FROM TEXAS, AND MY SHRIMPS AND GRITS WAS VERY DELICIOUS 😋 MADE ME REMEMBER THAT I WAS BACK HOME 🏡 IN TEXAS. I WILL TELL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS ABOUT LIZZIE LOU'S IN FIFE WASHINGTON! I CAN WAIT TO GO BACK TO LIZZIE LOU'S TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE ON THE MENU. MRS KONI FOSTER FROM HOUSTON TEXAS ❤️
The food was super good. Like really good! The seasonings and portions sizes were perfect. Good pricing too!
But don't make the mistake of comming in starving like we did. With only 2 people working, the wait time was 3 minutes shy of 1hour. That was the only downer. Otherwise, really good food.

Who would know that there was good food inside Harley Davidson store in Tacoma. The food was freshly made and totally amazing. There was a long wait for food but it was worth it. It was like fine dining food in a very modest bar seating.
This food was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!! I got the shrimp and grits and when I say it touched my Southern Soul!!! I'm going back!!! She makes the food right there... There's a little wait but that's only because she cooking cooking! It's worth the wait!!!!
Food was average, but the service was good and the wait for food was too long. It stated shrimp and grits took 25 minutes on the menu, so instead we ordered a breakfast sandwich and tuna melt, which still took 28 minutes from order to receipt.
I had to go try the shrimp and grits, it was delicious! I also loved the burger and smoothie I ordered another time! Always great service and conversation! Friendly and clean environment! Lizzie is so dope!
