This place is awesome!!! If you love a real good BBQ meal, this is the place!!! I first heard of them years ago, someone said they didn't like it and said not to go there, but one day I was craving BBQ & decided to check em' out anyway. WoW, am I glad I did, been going there about once a week for about 3 years now. There isn't one thing I don't like about their food, their fast and friendly service, the atmosphere, if I could give 10 stars, I surly would!!❤️

The only thing that was ok were the ribs and beans, but the beans with the meal come in a tiny condiment size cup. The cornbread was horrible and is dry and like a heavy brick, not sweet at all. The Mac n cheese had no flavor. Dessert was hard and dry and heavy like the cornbread. I would not go there again and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Ordered brisket take out for lunch. Then food was great and I loved the portion sizes. The woman behind the counter was very nice. Would like to go again!

The staff and atmosphere was great. Animal pelts and trophies everywhere. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating as well as parking. However, that’s where the good times stop. I ordered a two meat plate with brisket and hot link with beans and potato salad as my sides. The meal came with cornbread as well. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese. The brisket was dry and rubbery. The Desperado Link (hot link) was a strange grainy and mealy texture to it. The flavor was different and I didn’t mind that as much as the odd texture. My baked beans side had a total of 10 beans and giant chunks of onion and mushroom. The cornbread was rubbery and over baked. The potato salad was the highlight of the two meat plate. Unfortunately the mac and cheese lacked any seasoning or flavor. Just a very disappointing first time at the Warthog.

The food was edible. That's the best I can say. The brisket was a little tough, they obviously didn't smoke to probe tender. The smoke ring was non existent. The sausage was mushy, like it hadn't been cured correctly. The beans could have used another hour of cooking. I'm not wild about al dente beans. I believe the potato salad was purchased. It was the only really good thing on my plate. The cornbread was good. We really had our hopes up since they have been in business so long. The pit master needs to make a trip to Texas to get some pointers.
The service was amazing. The young man at the counter was very personable and earnest. The atmosphere was rustic and just perfect for the business. The price was about what we expected but sadly the food didn't measure up.

The ribs are not very good. I got three ribs for the meal and they're pretty much just like big burnt ends. If I wanted burnt ends I would have ordered burn ends. These ribs would take dead last in a rib competition. They are very fatty and you can't just bite into him. The top and bottom of the rib are so dried out from being either smoked too quickly and not long enough. It almost has a beef jerky taste and feel that you have to pull off before you can get to the tenderness of the rib. Hopefully I can post pictures because you would understand with my photos. I don't see anywhere that I can upload them unfortunately. But I just spent $26 and I only hate maybe one rib. It's just a shame. Because this place is close to my house and I wanted to like it. I don't want to give a four star review but hopefully they can fix that. Those were by far the worst ribs I've ever had in my entire life. They did not cook them long enough. They need to be smoked for a longer period of time at lower heat if we're going to be charging that much for ribs.

Update:
Not only did they respond but they added back to ordering services they were incredibly kind in their response. I will be ordering today and im updating my rating. Thanks a bunch!

I ordered the triple meat plate and it was phenomenal. After enjoying it so much I wanted to have it again the next week only to find that its no longer available for ordering, and it hasn't been available for months. The plates are not cheap, (About 25 dollars) which is why it would be nice to bring back a plate that offers multiple protein choices to your customers. 🙏

Excellent BBQ! The baby back ribs were just about falling off the bone. The beans and coleslaw were both great. The cornbread was just a touch dry for my liking, but the copious high-quality butter made up for it. The pies looked delicious, but I didn’t have room. The sweet tea was excellent. Will be coming back for more!

Being from Missouri, I appreciate good BBQ. I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. First, I like that they served cornbread as a standard, that to me, signifies a good BBQ place. And it is not a jiffy muffin from a tin but a generous size muffin. I don't normally like baked beans but these were good. More runny with extras again so you know its not just from a tin can. The pulled pork was generous in size and very tender and juicy. The food was cooked well but I appreciated they allow you to S and P if you need and use condiments to fit your personal flavor profile. You dont usually S and P on the table in a bbq joint so to me that was thoughtful. Ambience is great. Staff was as sweet as their Sweet tea...which to me is also a staple of a good BBQ joint. Overall, great experience, when I was not expecting to eat BBQ. God bless these folks for serving good comfort food the way you like it. And the seat cushions were a nice touch.

We stopped by Warthog BBQ in Fife and it was pretty solid! The food was tasty, prices were about what you’d expect, and the staff were friendly with quick service. Portions were definitely satisfying. Overall, a good spot for BBQ, and I’ll definitely eat here again.
