Great birthday dinner. Good wine menu for me and cocktail for my husband. Food and presentation excellent. Very good service. Would highly recommend to anyone.
No other place to eat for many miles except cooking in your cabin. However, there are no grocery stores within miles, save an on-premises mini mart. The Creekside Restaurant has the same menu every day for each of the three meals. Boring after a day or two.
the food and service was quite good and it has nice views. My wife had the baked chicken which was well done and the potato that came with it was delicious. Unfortunately the green beans were way undercooked and close to raw. My hamburger was large and well cooked and had nice trimmings and a great brioche bun. It needed seasoning and/or salt. The french fries were good. We shared a chocolate cake with a marionberry sauce that was a highlight of the meal and quite large. Overall a nice experience.
Great food, excellent service. House salad was very, very good. Always try their specialty drinks of the day.
Good options for anyone. They were able to accommodate special requests easily. Quick service from very nice wait staff. View of the water from every table. Make a reservation to have a table at your preferred time especially if more than 2 people. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day we stayed. Everything we ate was good/great!
The food was delicious! The grilled polenta with feta and ragu and the fish tacos is what we had. The searing was slow and we had a reservation - not sure what accounted for the hold up. The server was friendly, but also rather slow, which may have been a kitchen issue. I am from the rural midwest, so all the food prices seem expensive to me, so I can't really comment on that. Location to Hoh rainforest is pretty good.
Reservation was easily placed, we were able to get in a little early, service was superb, and food was scrumptious!
Definitely go for the grilled King Salmon. Best we've ever had. Excellent clam chowder. King Tide Chocolate Mud Cake with marionberry sauce was sublime, and the marionberry ice cream burst with flavor.
This is really the only restaurant anywhere close to Kalaloch lodge. The lodge is rustic as is the restaurant so we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. We ate several breakfasts and dinners here and everything was delicious, hot and fresh. The grilled Salmon was delicious and very fresh, the burger juicy and tasty, the lodge breakfast was very good and the pancakes were hot, fluffy and tasty. Each meal was very good. They are careful about seating tables so that their limited staff can provide excellent service so make a reservation on OpenTable for each meal that you plan to have here. Every server that we experienced was very nice, competent and helpful.
Nice setting with a view. Food was pretty good reasonably priced. Our server was a little scarce, but helpful once we got his attention. Would definitely stop by again when nearby.
The portions are a good size. I ordered a salad and it was big enough to share. Dinner is a much better experience than their breakfast. Also views of the ocean are great so try and get a window seat .
Food was very good at all meals we had there. Services was great at dinner but very slow at breakfast. I would still recommend eating there!
Really anticipated a bit more of a WOW factor for such a beautiful location.
Although not busy, we waited 3 or 4 minutes to be seated. Our waitress may have been new. She was very quiet. Pleasant.
Only 3 choices of tables to take advantage of the beautiful view. Felt a bit lack lusture.
Fish and chips were cooked perfectly although slightly greasy when you picked up a piece to eat. The breading tasty; very thick. Salty fries and coleslaw rounded out the meal.
