5/5!! Amazing restaurant! My husband and I stayed at Kalaloch Lodge for 4 days, and almost every meal we had was from Creekside Restaurant.
My husband tried the Elk Burger for the first time and absolutely loved it. I ordered the clam chowder, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever had , and comforting. I also really enjoyed the salmon dish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the green sauce paired with it was delicious.
The drinks were great too! My husband loved the Rocky Mountain Highball, and I really enjoyed The Matador. We finished our meal with their Apple Pie, and it was amazing!

Chef Bo & F/B mgr. Rachel created a fabulous 5 course pairing of CSM wines and a delightfully diverse & creative menu. Courses included PNW specialties including sourdough crostini, duck breast & bitter greens salad, salmon served with Cajun white beans, and elk medallions accompanied by foraged mushrooms. Each course with a specially selected wine. Desert was especially good - olive oil spice cake with dates and Michelle brut. So good...

Our waiter, Jake, was great, very pleasant first thing Sunday morning. We had eggs with potatoes (the potatoes were soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, eggs were done perfectly) and French toast stuffed with a delicious blackberry compote. I am so happy we found this restaurant, everything was so good.

Went for the Thanksgiving buffet. Was difficult to find and at one point almost gave up (sunset is very early in November). However, food was absolutely incredible, and abundant. No one left hungry, and everything was delicious. The ambience was lovely and it made me consider staying at the lodge. Absolutely would recommend.

I have been visiting Kalaloch Lodge for over 40 years and the level and quality of the food has never been as good as it is today. Just a well thought out menu with gorgeous local ingredients presented beautifully.

Awesome breakfast. The Marion Berry French Toast is fantastic. Our server, Jake, was very attentive and did a great job. A wonderful way to finish out camping at Kalaloch. 10/10 would visit again.

We were visiting Kaloloch in September and went to lunch. It is the only restaurant in the area. It was busy on a Thursday, and we lucked out a table freed up by the window. The menu items were a little expensive. We enjoyed the food, view, the restaurant ambience, and customer service.

It might be a good restaurant — maybe even with decent food. But when it comes to the people who run this place, it’s an absolute disaster. The way they treat customers is shockingly bad, something I honestly didn’t expect to still see in the U.S. in 2025.

I reached out to the restaurant in advance and made a reservation for 10:00 AM. It was my birthday, and we planned to meet friends there. On the day of the reservation, I notified them that we would be a little late and would arrive at 10:15.

We got there at 10:16 — and guess what they told us? “We’re already closed.”
There I was, standing in front of the chef, the hostess, and the server in a completely empty restaurant — and they just shrugged: “We waited 10 minutes, you didn’t show up, so we closed.”

I showed them the messages, the confirmation — none of it mattered. We drove an hour to get there, and not only did we not get breakfast, we didn’t even get a simple apology.

It’s honestly embarrassing. Avoid this place at all costs.

My husband and I stayed at the one of the cabins attached to here and ate here three nights in a row and got breakfast and it was amazing every single time. I recommend the chicken entree for dinner it was the best thing I had the entire time and that includes the filet mignon, Which was also good. It’s right on the beach so you have awesome views also. The staff was friendly and fast.

Great birthday dinner. Good wine menu for me and cocktail for my husband. Food and presentation excellent. Very good service. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We were expecting a subpar experience due to the relative monopoly and we did not find that. Crab mac and cheese was delicious. Good wine. Good service.

No other place to eat for many miles except cooking in your cabin. However, there are no grocery stores within miles, save an on-premises mini mart. The Creekside Restaurant has the same menu every day for each of the three meals. Boring after a day or two.

the food and service was quite good and it has nice views. My wife had the baked chicken which was well done and the potato that came with it was delicious. Unfortunately the green beans were way undercooked and close to raw. My hamburger was large and well cooked and had nice trimmings and a great brioche bun. It needed seasoning and/or salt. The french fries were good. We shared a chocolate cake with a marionberry sauce that was a highlight of the meal and quite large. Overall a nice experience.

Great food, excellent service. House salad was very, very good. Always try their specialty drinks of the day.
