I came here for the first time as a tourist and ordered takeout. They have fairly low rate, but they were the only place open early. The place was busy and unwelcoming, and they didn’t greet me when I entered. They charge an extra fee if you pay by card, which I didn’t know upfront, and they wouldn’t tell you until you ask and pay. I feel like they treat customers differently based on race (too obvious that I can feel right when I walked in), and if you don't tip well, servers can have a lot of attitude and judging. Their prices are too expensive for such customer service. Next time, I’d rather go to Subway than support a local place like this.

Good food at a reasonable price. Great sandwiches from what the other folks said. I was stuck with salad as usual unfortunately.

We had dinner here while staying at the motel next door.
I ordered the special 1/2 chicken and my friend had the country fried steak. Both entrees were delicious and cooked well. The prices are reasonable, and the service was great!

I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends or family.
A run of the mill average restaurant. I had Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo with overcooked shrimp & salmon, slightly undercook scallops with sauce from a can. My partner had undercooked fatty Ribeye steak. This morning dry biscuits and little gravy. Muddy water coffee.

We were skipped while waiting to be sat. The server w the strawberry blonde hair who even made eye contact and grabbed the person behind my party ( Maybe she thought we wouldn't tip well. The food was subpar. Pancakes over cooked, coffee bland. Our server was a little better but she seemed to hate her job.

The In Place was a fine place to eat. The food was decent, nothing special. The service was fine. There aren't a lot of choices in Forks, this is a good place for a meal.

The wait staff definitely waited. The gal was friendly but was annoyed with the cooks and help. Ordered a Philly cheese steak. Everything was burnt crispy, meat onions. Peppers. Tasted like chewing on charcoal. The fries were quite crispy too ..... Do not recommend this place for service or food.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but the waitress that served my group felt completely unprofessional. I think she was trying to engage with us in a playful banter, but it just came off as rude and ultimately made us uneasy.

This was disappointing. The food wasn't good. I ordered the garlic prawns. I received shrimp sitting in a cup of butter with some garlic sprinkled on top. The mashed potatoes were not real and they were very cold. They gave us some new potatoes that were hot. The only part of this meal that was decent was the side salad.
It was very loud inside. If you're looking for a spot where you can have a conversation without having to repeat yourself, this is not the place.
Service was friendly but slow. We had to ask for our bills and then we had to ask again for him to take our payment.
Lastly, as we were walking to the parking lot. A person in our group tripped and fell on her face. Her mouth and nose were a bloody mess, her glasses were broken, and her knee was injured. The lighting in the back parking lot is non existent. The side lot had it. There was a light above the back employee entrance, but the parking lot had none. She tripped on one of the cement parking curbs because she couldn't see it. I went in and got ice. One might think someone from the restaurant would have come out to see how she was doing. Not one person did. No lighting...dangerous parking lot...uncaring employees.
A big disappointment 😞

Me and my family came in from a long drive and walked into a well filled restaurant. But it didn’t even take 3 minutes for someone to seat us in a booth. We had perfect time to look over the menus, and found the idea for laminated kids menu a great idea

Then as our server walked around working he made sure we knew he would come to us soon. And he was not wrong. Soon he did come to us, very sweet, very nice. We all ordered.

We got our drinks very fast. Then we talked for a bit and soon our food came out. The steak my sister got was cooked perfectly and my fish and chips tasted amazing! My mother liked her meal just as much.

He was always checking up on us, and making sure we have all the drinks and things we need. We all loved all this food and the atmosphere and service. 100% recommend coming here on your next trip over!

Had to leave a review because I am not sure why some are on the low end. Stopped here for breakfast, my server was so sweet! The food was delicious. I got the skillet. Absolutely wonderful.

Food was burnt, waitress/hostess had her finger in the pitcher while pouring water. Bugs EVERYWHERE!! So uncomfortable eating there the entire time that we didn’t even finish our food. Can’t imagine the kitchen if the flies were that bad in the seating area. PLEASE DONT EAT HERE! I know options are slim but it makes me sick that they are allowed to continue serving food with the bug issue. Server was nice though.
