Man , where do I start, the burnt ends are fantastic, the brisket taco is on fantastic and the butternut squash taco is also amazing. Then our server tells me try mixing the squash and brisket tacos. Mind blown! Oh and the sides are incredible, elote and charro beans are my favorite. This place is literally an every time we go there stop.

Visited this establishment yesterday for a late lunch. Overall fine experience and fine food. The bill was paid at the counter via credit card as the waitress explained the card reader wouldn’t reach where we were sitting outside. Not a big deal, until my friends’ dad was confronted by the waitress on our way out for what she had assumed was being stiffed on the tip. We had left her an over 20% cash tip at the table which she was then made aware of. Having the audacity to confront an almost 70 year old man in front of other customers in what I can only assume was an attempt to publicly shame him, was not only humiliating and entitled but also incredibly unprofessional.

We went on a Wednesday at about 5pm and the restaurant was maybe half full. Wanted the ribs and they were solid out. Ok I get it, so I got brisket and chicken. Also ordered an appetizer of chips and queso. We sat there for 45 minutes with no appetizer or interaction with the staff. I had to be that dude to wave down the waitress to inquire about the appetizer. She went to check and oops, they didn't have any chips. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later. It's bbq and sides and should be already prepared. The Mac and cheese was and potato salad were tasty. However the brisket was dry. The chicken was a shredded (not mentioned on the menu) pile drenched in bbq sauce. The BBQ sauce varieties they offer are also primarily vinegar based East Coast style and not Texas style like their name would imply. The corn was also good but not worth a special trip or the wait. Good luck in glacier gunners, it's brutal out there for restaurants. Winter is coming.

Edit: I grew up in South Texas with a competitive BBQ cooking brother in law so my standards are kinda high

We came here close to 1 pm on a long weekend Sunday, and the wait time to get seated and then waiting for food was kind of crazy long. But when the food arrived, everything felt completely worth it.

We ordered two meats and two sides, the meat was brisket with burnt end, and Chipotle chicken. The sides were mac and cheese and coleslaw. The ambience was amazing, you can see mountains peaks. Especially if you sit outside, it will feel magical.

The only thing they can improve, is their time management. We understand that on a busy afternoon the order might take a while, however keeping the customers informed would’ve been a good idea..

First of all, the waitress’s attitude was not very friendly when we ordered. After we placed our order, no one informed us that it would take a long time. We ended up waiting for over an hour, and during that time, nobody came to update us on when our food would be ready. My friends and I were starving, and still no one said anything. The whole experience was really disappointing.

We loved our food, it was excellent and full of flavor. The brisket was succulent and the sides were flavorful and just delicious! Thank you, we will surely stop by again soon!

Always good!
I had the one meat and 2 side plate. Get the elote, you get cornbread with it, and it’s so good!
I got the Chipotle chicken, and mac n cheese, and a smokey old fashioned.

Accessible, there’s a wheelchair ramp.

A group of about fifteen of us stopped by after a car club drive up Baker. Excellent food! I had three tacos (brisket, Carnitas, and cod), and these folks know how to make street tacos. Great, friendly service. Can’t wait to return.

Wow. Excellent food and service. Every year my Miata club heads up to Baker. In the past, we’ve stopped at Chair 9 for lunch and endured their poor service. This year we hit up Gunner’s (about 15 of us, without calling ahead to give a heads-up, which is not ideal). It did not disappoint! (More of us on the drive also stopped for lunch this year because we were going to try someplace new. In the past most skipped Chair 9.)

Great food, terrible front end service. good luck ever calling to order instead of driving/waiting half an hour, getting them to answer is non existent. Again GREAT good. Will be back just with an alotted amount of time.
