Toxic place. I'm a 75 year old woman. I was the only customer. I said I'd heard they had good ruben sandwiches and ordered 2. Server asked if I wanted anything to drink and when I hesitated she yelled the question like I was hard of hearing. She then asked if I spoke a dialect, was from a foreign country, said I looked confused. I live 20 miles away and have a doctoral degree.The ruben was ham not corned beef, thin and the bottom slice of bread was so soggy that it disintegrated in my hand. The potatoes in the salad were undercooked and crunchy. There were signs encouraging gun ownership and open carry and support of 2nd amendment rights. Server was the owner. Service was rude, accusatory, unpleasant. Food was mediocore. No second time for me.

For people from Bavaria (like us...) stay + food was like drinking during our detour from visiting relatives in Oregon to Washington state north of Goldendale to the highly original "Bavarian Deli" with original Bavarian-German drinks + food (like such as the sweet “Händlmaier” mustard!) a great pleasure - including the naturally friendly service from Julie!

I enjoyed the schnitzel and red cabbage sauerkraut and the potatoes were excellent! The server was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere must be experienced! There are a plethora of beer steins, pictures of places in Germany and other odds and ends including a small selection of German grocery items. If you happen to be in the area, definitely worth a stop for a snack or a meal.

This is an absolute must place to stop at. Its not much to look at form outside and easy to pass. Bring cash. The owner is sweet and makes the food herself. Her dog will greet you when you come into the restaurant. Limited menu but great. I had the schnitzel with brown gravy mushrooms, German potatoes, and purple sauerkraut ($20). I can't wait to stop in again.

Best Reuben I’ve ever had. I returned the next day for the Jäger Schnitzel, also delicious. Don’t miss it if you’re passing through! It’s right on the highway.

Had the schnitzel with mushroom gravy and fried potatoes and red cabbage. All of it absolutely delicious. We ate every bite. She also has a dessert she makes that looks really good. The lady who owns it and makes everything is very efficient and friendly. Really recommend this place.

Great food if you want a wonderful German cuisine from a lady that pours her heart and soul into her food then I would highly recommend this wonderful place. In the time that I lived right behind her deli she became one of my good friends I wish I still lived there because I miss her hospitality and the love and passion that she has for her restaurant.
