At D'Avanzo's, fresh and delicious food is served in a pleasant atmosphere with soft background music. The lasagna is a standout dish, rich and flavorful, and the bread plate with herb butter and roasted garlic is a delight. The menu also features a variety of well-seasoned dishes such as Alfredo, bolognese, and caprese. The bread basket, especially the everything bread basket, is highly praised and considered an experience not to be missed. Service is excellent and fast, reminiscent of authentic Italian food back home. Guests often enjoy the flavorful house salad with fresh ingredients and house-made salad dressing, which is so good that some take it home. The garlic bread appetizer is praised as incredible, and the desserts are also highly recommended. The chef, under the owner’s guidance, demonstrates mastery in preparing both pasta and non-pasta dishes, like the braised beef ribs with polenta and collard greens with bacon, which are described as fantastic. Although there may be minor issues with temperature and door distractions, the wonderful staff and excellent food make for a lovely dining experience in this unexpected location.
