Went for a tasting and I was part of a group event. Very entertaining presentation by Steve. The wine is excellent but thought that the tasting could have used some snacks and water to cleanse the palate and to find out how the wine interacted with food. The tasting was free to me but would have expected more if I was paying for it. Figure around $38 for a bottle.
Had the most amazing wines at the most amazing venue. The Petite Syrah was worth the trip alone. The view of Mt Ranier and the humming birds were so beautiful we stayed after our tasting and enjoyed a bottle. Then we took home a bottle of the Petite Syrah, Malbec and Merlot. All were fantastic. The owner was such a gracious host. I highly recommend this winery.
My wife and I had the privilege of visiting Marcus Sophia Winery, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The intimacy of the tasting was a highlight, offering a private session just for us and the gracious owners. Their selection of red wines took center stage, each presenting a robust berry profile that was both deep and flavorful, without the harsh acidic bite one might expect from other wines. Tasting all five was a journey through the nuances of red wine, each one impressively crafted.Beyond the wine itself, the owners are both kind and deeply knowledgeable, enhancing our visit with their insights. They were eager to share the intricacies of how each wine was made, walking us through the process and the care that goes into every bottle. The winery’s setting amplifies the experience further. The view is simply breathtaking, with a porch that gracefully overlooks the vast property. The majestic Mt. Rainier stands tall in the background, offering a picturesque backdrop as you sip your wine. And the best part? After immersing yourself in the tasting experience, you have the delightful opportunity to purchase your favorite wines on the spot. This convenience, combined with the ability to accept credit cards, ensures a seamless transaction.I can’t recommend Marcus Sophia Winery enough for those who appreciate exceptional wine in a warm, personalized setting with stunning views and passionate proprietors. A must-visit for wine enthusiasts!

The location is amazing, gorgeous scenery. Forest setting!! Their home is beautiful, the deer walk right up near the deck. The wine is balanced and flavorful a lot of options and well priced.Check out the website to set up a tasting. I will be definitely coming back soon to try the next years of wine.
I have had an amazing time at this winery a few times now the wine is amazing. The hosts are so sweet and personable. They have a large selection of wine they make them selves. The location is still close to town but feels secluded and almost like a deep forest retreat. I will definitely be coming back soon for a few more bottles and another tasting.
We had a wonderful wine tasting this afternoon and highly recommend their wine. I look forward to going back soon.
Really bad service, really unprofessional.
