On our first visit to Whidbey Island, we saw this cute little pie store and decided to get some pies. We got slices of triple berry, marionberry and cherry. All were delicious, the crust was perfect! The owner/manager there was so kind and helpful. My son said this was the best pie he's ever eaten. Place is dog friendly and connects to a coffee shop that offers free whipped cream on top. We will visit again when we are in the area!

Cold, flavorless and tasted old. We bought two slices for our kids. They did not like them at all. They said it tasted like olive oil. Apples barely had any flavor nor sweetness. Crust was oily and definitely didn't taste like butter. Also when you walk in there is no pie smell or bakery smells. Pie's were super cold and lacking enjoyment. Wondering if they were old and thawed not fresh. My son thinks they forgot to add sugar and didn't bake them all the way. Really not a good experience at all. For $6 a piece we were expecting something edible. When a kid doesn't eat a dessert you know something is wrong ....

Best pies ever!!!!! We come from Las Vegas just to get these pies. You can tell they're made with love and by pie bakers who care about their product. The only problem is stopping at one slice.

The best pie in the NW, maybe the country. This shop alone is worth a ferry ride to Langley. Everyone is nuts for the delicious Marionberry, but don't miss the rhubarb pie when in season.

Have you ever driven almost two hours plus a ferry ride to get a pie? We did. Well worth it for the mouthwatering seasonal Huckleberry pie. We called ahead to reserve one, as the supply was limited. Their other pies looked amazing too, but the Huckleberry was the best pie we ever ate. Something for you (and us) to plan for next fall.

This review is strictly about the pie I purchased through Metropolitan Market. I ordered a limited edition Huckleberry pie. The pie sliced nicely but I couldn't dish a single piece because the entire bottom crust was severely stuck to the pan. It had nothing to do with the juice of the berries but strictly the pie dough, it was as if there wasn't enough fat in the dough to grease the pan. I ended up serving "deconstructed" pie because it was a mess. For $40.00 I expected a premium pie. I am very disappointed with the quality and am surprised Whidbey Island Pies would put their name to such a product.

Though we have seen and tried Whidbey Pies in stores like Met Market, I had never actually visited their location and had a slice there. On Saturday we had an opportunity to do that -- and we were not disappointed! My wife had the Marionberry and I had Spiced Apple Cider (an apple pie). I liked Whidbey Pies when I bought them in the stores but this was a whole other experience. The fruit tasted so fresh and the crust was the perfect combination of buttery and flakiness. If you happen to be on Whidbey Island, take some time to have a slice of fresh pie!

Clean, friendly and most importantly, best pie ever!!

Do yourself a favor & try all of their pies. It’s a good thing that we live many states away, because we’d be in Langley all the time & be 50 lbs. heavier. Our server was delightfully friendly & welcoming even though he was about to close. One of us is quite a discerning (picky, most would say) eater, & he was VERY COMPLIMENTARY. Thanks for a fun & delicious experience!

Yummy pies for lunch. ? Had the granny apple pie slice. Tasted the marionberry pie (yum)!

Delicious marionberry pie and friendly staff. Would gladly go back!

Thick flaky crust densely filled with berries. PNW Marionberry (blackberry) is our favorite.
