Over priced. Bland rice, runny beans. Won't go back.

Overall this was a nice meal. I had the pollo en mole. The flavor profile of the mole wasn't what expected but was house made and very tasty. The rice in the rice and beans was delicious. My wife found the puffy tacos a bit to spicy but she's a bit sensitive so I gave them a try and I thought it was quite good. Good leftover lunch for me!The service was good and friendly. The owner even came over to the table for a nice chat and to make sure we had enjoyed ourselves. The ambiance did lack, but it was very clean. I did take a peek into the lounge and it didn't seem finished. Rose's hasn't been open at this location for very long so it might be a work in process.I plan to come back to try the barria which has good reviews.I would definitely recommend you make a stop and support this restaurant!

Was not impressed. Salsa was bland and runny. Beans were runny. Food was not served as advertised. Chips were stale. All in all. I would not go back.

Not impressed lunch was rather insipid and showed up on cold plastic plates instead of hot ceramic platters it was lunch and we were the only people there

When roses was just a small taqueria, it was a 5 star experience. Owner was a pleasure, their tacos and simple dishes were great, should have stuck with that, but now that they are a large restaurant it’s become a poor experience.First off when you enter, more often than not you have no idea if you’re suppose to wait to be seated or just go sit down it’s like there are no employees no signs no anything.2nd prices have more than doubled and the serving sizes are small compared to places like Mazatlan. Granted Mazatlan is tourist food but you get double for cheaper and it’s good food. The other authentic small Mexican and Salvadorian restaurants and food trucks are better priced. We paid 60.00 for the birra taco plate, 1 burrito (which the burrito was not made how it was ordered) and a torta and 2 sodas. Not worth the small serving sizes. The main reason I won’t go back, is the 4 small black hairs that were under my torta that I didn’t notice until the sandwich was gone. That’s gross. I couldn’t tell if they were human or rat. Also the owner is now very short and seems mostly annoyed, which is probably why one of the orders was wrong. I was so angry didn’t bother complaining I just paid and left, the food, serving sizes and prices and customer service have become unacceptable.I had eaten there for years when it was a taqueria. I ate twice there now it’s a restaurant and I won’t go back. Its unacceptable.

Excellent food. Great taste, authentic.I'm glad we stopped. May not be glamorous but the people who recently opened the business are passionate about the food they make, and it is apparent in the taste of the food....great.

I love the food! The prices have increased but they are local and very good so I'll still support them when I can.

Food was edible but not good. Cheese wasn't even melted in a chile relleno. No flavor. Not cheap food, just poor quality.

Had a delicious meal there. Was relatively inexpensive. I loved the verde enchilada and my partner can't stop talking about his burrito lol.

You can tell that there's still trying to get permits for different things in the restaurant. And they have assured me that they're going to expand their menu. What I've had so far has been excellent. I would say it was as good as my mom and her cooking, but I don't want to insult my mom.
