Amazing sushi place. They welcome you with hot tea and a soup. I've been around the area for quite long, but I feel missed eating at this place.

Very, very slow service. We all waited while we saw the delivery drivers come in and wait and wait. It wasn’t busy yet the kitchen was not making the orders. The staff is careless. Complete waste of time, Fred Meyer would be a much better choice for Sushi.

Only thing I'll complain about, is no vegetarian kimchi*** served (no fish sauce, anchovies, squid ink) with the bbq short ribs or korean kalbi beef [exquisite job to chefs]!

Sushi, on the other spectrum- all was delicious; between my little sister (which was visiting from Montana), our mother filled up on miso soups, 2 yellowtail, 2 spider rolls of the 6 & the salad n white rice...

Hopefully, next time visiting- vegetarian Kimchi will be an option, even if $7 charge for all you can have while dining 😉 !

They use way too much imitation crab (krab) in their dishes. I don't eat that. You have no clue what they are making that with and it often contains garbage ingredients.

Such a great place to dine in. We’ve been dining at Aji for almost 10 years. The staff are very friendly and they welcome us by name. Youmi is such a happy and an amazing server. The food is always fresh. Never had issues with it. The atmosphere is chic, cozy, and welcoming.

everything is perfect, great miso to start. bibimbap is best i’ve had. love the staff. often use it for to go fried rice, dragon roll with the seared salmon, edamame, short rib. great little place and atmosphere.

I just went to have dinner there tonight with my family and ordered the Korean bulgogi. It was super dry, it looked like freeze dried dog food. The taste was horrible, my wife and daughter ended up ordering three times a lady, also disgusting. When I complained to our waitress, who was polite, and asked who was in charge, she pointed to some guy behind the sushi bar. I asked her to make sure to let them know. No one cared or came to apologize for the horrible food experience we had. Nothing, all we got was an offer for leftover Halloween candy or our way out, I’m serious. Not only was this in poor taste but disrespectful. We had visited the place last year and it was ok. I don’t know what happened to this restaurant in the Highlands. I paid over $100 for some appetizers and just nasty food. My visit there was on November 4, 2024 at around 530pm. I would not visit this place ever again.
