1st time visiting this place since my favorite local teriyaki place closed down. My twin accompanied me. The business itself looks nice, it's a build your own plate set up kind of like panda express only it looks like they were trying to be a classier version of it. So we had high hopes walking in. Unfortunately when it came to the food, I/ we were not impressed. To start, there was very little to choose from in my opinion. Even looking at the food something just looked.....off, but we didnt want to judge it right away since finding good teriyaki in this area is hard to find. We both ended up getting the white rice, broccoli, some yakisoba noodles, the regular chicken and paid extra for some steamed gyoza. The rice was probably the best part to be honest and even that was sub par......the broccoli was basically raw and smelled awful like steamed dirt....made me think it wasn't washed or something. The chicken was dry and bland, the sauce would've helped some but had to have been watered down or something because it tasted like there was barely any on it and I saw the server put at least one ladles worth on it.... the "yakisoba" noodles tasted like bad ramen noodles and the steamed gyoza was cold and soggy, not to mention they serve it with a cup of straight soy sauce not gyoza sauce like we thought...... disappointing all around and we will not be returning. ?

A step ahead of most teriyaki places. The staff were very friendly and upbeat. Teriyaki and brisket were absolutely delicious and I'd say better than toshi's or bistro down the hill. The salad is actually a salad with all sorts of good stuff and and NOT a bunch of lettuce with ranch, I really appreciate that. All for 12$ too. I highly recommend this place.

Came for lunch around 1:30. Food was tasty and place was quiet and clean. ❤️Enjoyed the bb spicy chicken with yakisoba, rice, and stir fry. Stir fry was more like a wet salad or just more sautéed than crispy. Still overall taste is good and the place is nice.

First time here and the customer service was perfect. Staff was super friendly and definitely made you feel welcome. My only complaint was I wish they had another beef option other than brisket. Brisket was not my favorite and I did have a try of the chicken and that was better. The price was fair and will come back for the chicken.

I want to start with the service. They were awesome, and that is what MIGHT take me back for a second chance to have better proteins?!?! The side orders, cabbage especially, were pretty good! The broccoli wasn’t over cooked, which I appreciated, and my partner’s yakisoba was good. My tofu was subpar and the beef was over salted but tender. I’d like to give this place 3.5 stars but not an option.

Bang average, if not sub-par teriyaki. Apologies to the super friendly staff, but the food is not worth it. Positives: located in the Highlands, friendly staff, good restaurant interior, I like the three sides options, and the prices are relatively cheap. Downsides: the meat is not cooked fresh, it sits in a bath of water/liquid for who knows how long. I have had the chicken twice and it's sort of rubbery/dry. They also bathe everything in salt, after eating there I feel like I'm experiencing pulmonary thrombosis. The meat is the foundation of good teriyaki, it should be grilled fresh per order. Also, the gyoza are average, they sit in a steamer all day until ordered.

Super nice customer service. For teriyaki it was pretty good. Love the extra attention to compostable containers and bins!

Ambiance and staff - clean and friendly....and the food was ready to go Food - fresh and decent quantities! We enjoyed picking the sides, which were broccoli, mixed salad, and yakisoba noodles (yum). The chicken was tender too. We tried the regular sauce (not spicy) and it almost tasted like just honey. I didn't get any notes of soy or savory. So, that was disappointing.

I've tried a lot of the teriyaki in the area and love this place! They're always so friendly and welcoming. Yeah there's not a lot of options but it's a chicken teriyaki place... not sure what else you want. The sides are great, broccoli is always fresh and the cabbage salad is the right amount of tangy. Great serving size for the price and gyoza is yummy too! My go-to teriyaki place now and I recommend to all!
