I wish they would make a special section on the menu for their vegan delicious Indian foods! We tried Baingan Bharta which is eggplant dish with rice, Aloo Vindaloo, Chana Masala, and Roti bread.

Bukhara is our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. All of their curries are delicious. During the pandemic we ordered from here about once a week.Unfortunately, lately they removed the options to have vegetables with the tikka masala sauce which means we will be coming less often as it was a favorite.

We ordered:- Kadhai paneer - Hands down the best kadhai paneer I have had in this area. But a bit on the oily sideDaal Bukhara - Not good. Would not recommend.Saag paneer- more like Palak paneer. Again a bit on the oily side.Garlic naan- good. Worth a shot.Laccha parantha- cold and chewy. Would not recommend.Complimentary pista ice cream - It was not ice cream , it was frozen cream? It did not melt even after 15min. Taste was bland. Had I known I would have returned it.Will only come back here for kadhai paneer if ever.

We went on a Saturday night and it was as crowded as it could be. The tables are pretty close so there isn't enough space. The food wasn't great. I found the breads to be too thick to be chewable and the gravy wasn't great either. Maybe I need to opt for some different dishes.

This place used to be our go-to for Indian food in Issaquah. We decided that our visit this evening will be the last one though. First things first, food is simply overpriced. Especially "kids menu". They basically bring 4 chicken tenders and a whole bag of frozen fries and charge you $16 for it. Why am I paying $16 for 4x the amount of food my for year old can eat? Give me half of this and charge me $8 like every other decent restaurant. The food quality has gone down. They no longer care. Samosa chaat came smothered in ice cold yogurt today, and the whole plate was ice cold as a result. The service people are not nice or kind, they all look miserable in fact, and it's just not pleasant being in this restaurant. I wish we had stayed home and ate leftovers from last night. Farewell Bukhara, it was good while it lasted.

Used to be my favorite. But last night we ordered take out from their site. After submitting, we called to make sure they received it and they said they had not. So, we gave them our order. Same name, same phone number. When we went to pick up our food, they said we double ordered and demanded we pay for both. Seriously. Same name. Same phone number. Same order. You can't figure that out?! To top it off the food has gone downhill.

Terrible customer service and horrible food. We ordered seekh kabab and it was super hard and dry. Although they exchanged it after we complained, the new batch was still extremely dry. Chicken curry with bone was SUPER salty. The host and owner were extremely arrogant and argumentative. Never again are we coming here and unless you love 10 days old food, we would caution you not to as well.

Their food is ok, but I've always had memorably bad service. In restaurants- I've seen staff arguing loudly. Order to go- once was almost 30 mins late. Another time, he said foods not ready - I waited 15 mins only to find out the food was sitting on the counter getting cold. He didn't even bother to look. A pattern of astonishing disregard for customers earns them a 1 star from me.

Cute place. It is Diwali so my friend and I enjoyed some Punjabi favorites. Paneer pakora that was light and fluffy, not dense and chewy. Veggie pakora which were equally delicious. Saag (if you say veggie, they add veggies instead of having plain saag), a chicken dish I can't remember and lovely garlic Naan. We did have to mix our own cocktails at the table which was different but still very enjoyable. I'll definitely visit again.

Spontaneously went in for the first time last night with my partner and have never had a better first impression of a business/restaurant. Staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. The meal was prepared quickly and perfectly and was entirely delicious. Got to sample their homemade pistachio ice cream at the end and it was to die for. Definitely will be back and would recommend this to anybody looking for a perfectly made affordable meal in a nice atmosphere with welcoming people.

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars. Lovely place, great atmosphere and FANTASTIC food - hot nicely spicy, served quickly and topped with pistachio kulfi that was so rich and creamy... just scrumptious! We found our place for curry night on the first try!!

Absolutely incredible food. The taste and presentation made it some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had and I will be talking about this place.I’m sad I’m just a visitor and not a local, because I would for sure be a regular here if I could. Thanks for the incredible meal.

This place is a delightful find, I will definitely be coming back! We ordered drinks and they didn't have the whiskey I wanted so they comped both drinks. What! Who even does that any more?? Service was friendly and prompt, and best of all the food was DELICIOUS. We had mattar with mushrooms and a lentil & red bean dish, with garlic spinach naan on the side. The flavors were rich and complex, and a 3/5 heat level was just right for me. We were looking for someplace within walking distance of Village Theater, and this will be my go-to from now on!! Can't wait to eat the leftovers.

We had Aloogobi, Tikka Masala, Bhuna Curry, rice and garlic Naan. All were delicious. We will gladly go back.
