Steamed cauliflower and carrots does NOT make giardiniera. Pastrami meat looks like burnt ends from a brisket and dry as hell. This place can't seem to get anything right. People giving them high ratings are either paid for the ratings or have never had a good sandwich or hot dog. Most of the sandwiches aren't even on the right type of bread! Menu says may sub chicken on a beefsteak and may sub turkey on a Reuben 😂

This place was recommended by a coworker. It was a real disappointment. Nothing positive to share. You're better off going to a fast food place

After having lived in Issaquah for 10 years, I went to Chicago Pastrami for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Chicago Dog was. I immediately fell in love with this place and will definitely go back to try the other items on their menu.

The only positives are the staff is incredibly friendly, but the food was definitely not the greatest, the only good thing that we got was the Seattle hot dog (it's hard to mess up a hot dog though). The sandwiches were all dry and would have been better with a au ju or some sort of sauce on them, but the meat was very chewy yet dried out and overcooked. The garlic fries were 99% garlic and the smell of whatever herbs they used along side the garlic made us neasous. Mac n cheese bites were just basic frozen then fried like you'd get from the grocery store.

Pic included is of the amount of garlic and herbs they put on 2 cups of fries, and that's after we ate part of it too and picked out the fries.

Stop in our way back to Seattle, the place is in the corner of an old gas station I believe. We tried 4 items from the menu, the classic pastrami, the cheese steak, the chili fries and a side of fries. Order was delivered fast to our table even when they were handling a large order before us. The pastrami, while a plain sandwich was plenty and very savory with a little smokey tone. It reminded me of the one I get on Puerto Rico. The cheese steak was piping hot and very good, the bread absorbs the juices nicely. The chili fries were my sister in law favorite, she told me best she ever had and the size of the thing enough to feed a hungry man. French Fries were made to order and perfectly cooked, crispy outside and creamy inside. We were very pleased. Give this guys a try next time you're around. You will be happy you did.

Incredibly SLOW service. I understand they're short staffed, but you should give an estimate on time when people order, or stop accepting take out orders if you don't have the staff to get food out in a reasonable time frame. Over 30 minutes wait is unacceptable.

Was excited to try the cheesesteak. Would be one star, but at least the food was made to order and hot. The price is outrageous! $24.71 for a sub, a small fry, and a can of Diet Coke…. Everything you see in the photo!

Add that half of the sandwich was not edible due to chewy pieces in the meat. Overall for a cheesesteak was definitely not anything special.

Got the classic Chicago pastrami. The pastrami is Awsome. Will try the Italian beef next time. I’m hoping it is soggy and comes with dip just like in Chicago. First place in my 30+ years In WA that I’ve found a Chicago sandwich that I would recommend. Thanks Chicago Pastrami for what you do. Worth every cent food.

Great pastrami sandwich, and the fries are large and crispy! I wasn't a fan of the cheese steak. The place has a good vibe and the staff is friendly.
