After having lived in Issaquah for 10 years, I went to Chicago Pastrami for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Chicago Dog was. I immediately fell in love with this place and will definitely go back to try the other items on their menu.
Stop in our way back to Seattle, the place is in the corner of an old gas station I believe. We tried 4 items from the menu, the classic pastrami, the cheese steak, the chili fries and a side of fries. Order was delivered fast to our table even when they were handling a large order before us. The pastrami, while a plain sandwich was plenty and very savory with a little smokey tone. Got the classic Chicago pastrami. The pastrami is Awsome. Will try the Italian beef next time. I’m hoping it is soggy and comes with dip just like in Chicago. First place in my 30+ years In WA that I’ve found a Chicago sandwich that I would recommend. Thanks Chicago Pastrami for what you do. Worth every cent food.
