The Coffee Shop – Preston, WA: Un Espresso e Un Cappuccino 9/13/2025
On my way to Spokane, I stopped to explore the little town of Preston, which is just outside Seattle. I have seen the sign for Preston 100s of times as a traveled on Interstate-90 and always wondered “we share the same name, maybe I should check it out.” It is a little place with a few businesses, a community center, and a park on the site of the old saw mill. I took a short hike at the park then stopped at “The Coffee Shop” for an espresso and a cappuccino. The shop is small but very charming and the barista was very friendly. There was a short wait before ordering but I got my drinks and sat outside enjoying the sunshine. Both drinks were…not good. Sugar didn’t improve the taste. Maybe it was an off-day. I’ll have to return and try again.

I walked in just looking for my Americano and ended up finding a warm atmosphere and great customer experience. To the girl who served me my coffee and bagel Thanks! I’ll make sure to come around more often.

This is the best white coffee latte I have ever had. It’s so smooth and flavorful.

Really enjoy coffee and light treats from this coffee shop. Quaint, quiet atmosphere in a little Cafe tucked near the High Point Way Trail and Preston/Fall City. Easy access to on ramp to return to I-90 after a quick bite to eat and tasty drinks. I enjoyed the caramel latte, had a full bodied espresso flavour and not overly sweet.
Raspberry mocha was a perfect balance of rich cocoa flavourful taste, lightly sweetened with raspberry and same great Caffe D'arte espresso.
Great service from both employees that have helped me.
I was quite pleased with their ham and cheese croissant, very generous portion really filled me up. Can't wait to try the pizza bagel and cream cheese! Looks tasty. One I had bought did slide off my passenger seat and was a lost soldier, no fault to my friendly and helpful barista. That's on me.
This is a fantastic quick counter serve local coffee shop ☕️ if passing through the area I'd recommend highly! Even as far as saying going out of your way to try it the delicious espresso is worth it and they won't disappoint.
There's a decent amount of seating both inside and out. Building is neighboring Subway and Shell, so there's ample parking if the plaza is busy.

We stopped at this adorable local coffee shop on our way home from Seattle to Spokane, and I’m so glad we did. I don’t usually write reviews unless something really stands out, and this place definitely did.
We had a pretty big order (5 drinks, breakfast sandwiches, a bagel, and pastries), and everything was delicious.
But what made the experience truly memorable was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, and even the other customers gave off such good vibes. My girls were over the moon when they got to pet the sweetest little French bulldogs, just one of many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.
Highly recommend making a stop here if you're in the area. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back every time you pass through.
Thank you for the amazing service, delicious drinks, and cozy experience!

adorable little place!! i don’t know if it was just my drink, but my espresso tasted quite burnt… my iced latte wasn’t too sweet though, and the color was perfect.

My daughter loved this coffee shop after a long weekend at a nearby girlscout camp. We had a pizza bagel, maple donut, real fruit smoothie and a seasonal latte. This place is awesome, my daughter requested to come here later this year for her birthday.

This is another jewel in the Snoqualmie Valley. A convenient location, great coffee, great service, and Servers that always make my day brighter.
I happened upon this place a couple weeks ago on my way to eastern Washington. Convenient and easy to get to off I-90, if you want to avoid the traffic and congestion of Issaquah. The owner was very friendly, we had a nice chat after realizing we share the same hometown. Coffee was great, I highly recommend stopping in.

Really great coffee and wonderful people. I live nearby, so this is my go-to coffee place roughly 2-3 times a week when I need a quality drink. Good selection of pastries, paninis, bagels, burritos, etc if you're hungry as well.

Small friendly coffee shop with really nice white mocha coffees! Not too sweet. The chocolate chip cookies are pretty good too. Love being able to sit outside and watch the world while sipping my coffee.
