This was the second time we ate at Poke Highlands. The first time we enjoyed our meal and felt like it was good value for the money. This time we pretty much felt like we were robbed. Nickelled and dimed for everything without being told, the portions were much smaller, and they added some sauce at the end which none of us wanted. It was $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat there (no drinks). We won’t ever go there again. Too much money for what we got and this time our youngest didn’t even eat his because of the random sauce they put on without asking. It was a weird vibe for sure. We normally go to the poke place near REI and have had zero issues. This place impressed us enough to return but something has very much changed. I don’t like to hurt a business but this place doesn’t deserve your money.

Super clean spot! Fish looked and tasted incredible! Felt very fresh. Fast service and very nice staff. Lots of seating to sit inside. Loved the spicy tuna and the cilantro aioli on top with some fresh mango. We will definitely be back. My fiance said it’s some of the freshest poke he’s had outside of Hawaii!

Generous sized meals, fresh and good quality ingredients. I’m surprised this place isn’t more busy. Only poke place that’s made me want to get poke over sushi rolls

This is the best poke place on the plateau. Freshest ingredients by far, and really good options. Also, owner is there most of the time and is so kind!

I used to get takeout here often, however today I tried to and their lobby was locked with customers inside. Their store page displayed them as open and I was able to place an order, but not pick it up. Had to sit outside for close to an hour talking with customer support for the ordering platform, as the restaurant didn't pick up the phone. Still waiting on my refund from them :( upsetting because I really enjoy the poke here but it was a big inconvenience today :/

I actually really enjoy what seems to be a family establishment’s poke- it’s fresh and much more flavorful than the other chains. However the portion sizes do seem smaller, and they close at 8pm which I know is not unusual in a suburb, but the other poke places are open later. They’re also now charging extra for additional items such as spicy vs regular crab salad which they did not do a few months ago- I understand needing to make a profit so I can’t entirely fault them. I just wish the portions especially with the fish were slightly larger.
:/ Sorry to say that this is nothing like the poke in Seattle or Hawaii (I grew up there). It is kind of expensive ($20 for an order) and I don’t like the rice here. It didn’t really stick together. The Korean guy serving me was kind of grumpy and it made me not want to eat there. I am not usually in Issaquah, but I would probably try other places before returning.
