I had an appointment in issaquah so I stopped into this place. I live on the east side and we dont have an ivars. The food was delicious. I got the full boat special and shared with a friend.

Kind of dirty. Pictures look absolutely a million times better and bigger than what you actually receive. The clam chowder was great and the cookies butter puffs were amazing! I did not like the mushrooms at all.

Eh, I feel like we wasted our money. We spent more money here than fine dining and the food wasn't great. Fries were soggy and my salmon was very, very fishy.

Craving the official seafood place of the northwest? Stop by Ivar's seafood bar in Issaquah. We started by having our ordertaken from a Vet named Bob. Bob was delightful and made sure our older was entered correct the first time.
Food came out quick and fresh (we had the 4 piece cod and a bowl of chowder) and was deep fried perfectly. The restaurant was clean and well kept up. I would highly recommend stopping by for a meal that isn't burger and fries.
If you are lucky, Bob will stop by your table to share a bit of wisdom from his many years on earth.

Ehh.. I could find better seafood in Missouri. The salmon was tough and dry and barely even had any color to it. I questioned if it was even salmon with how fishy the taste was. This was the FULL order of mushrooms. I didn't even know they harvested mushrooms so small- much less only serve so few when they are. I thought the prices looked great until I realized the food was equally bad. It's unfortunate- the place has a good location, nice atmosphere, good service, but the food is severely lacking.

I had never been to this location, but it is certainly my favorite in terms of having the sauces available, not having to beg for tiny portions. The place was very clean inside and the decor was on point! The service was great. The food was great. Anytime I’m in Washington, I have to hit up Ivar’s. I was headed out to Suncadia and this was the last one on my way, so I pulled in here and it is now my favorite for service and amenities. Now, as far as the view goes, the best views are at a particular location in Seattle.

One of the better Ivar's locations I have been to. The food was super fresh and came steaming hot. The facility is clean all around including the bathrooms which were spotless. Personally I highly recommend the Cajun Fish and chips but everything I've tried off the menu so far has been exceptional. If you have never been to an Ivar's, this is one of the best locations to introduce yourself to them.
