Been to Jak's a handful of times over the years. It would be more but its a good 30-45 minute drive from my home. Food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Plenty of parking around which makes it nice. When in the Issaquah area its a great spot for grabbing a bite with family or business.
Pre-play dinner for my mom's 71st birthday. Amazing dinner, personable server and a sweet treat to celebrate her birthday. Thank you so much for a wonderful night!
Everything from start to finish was fantastic! Delicious food and great service! A tad bit noisy but otherwise a lovely dinner.
Absolutely wonderful! We went for my husband‘s birthday, and they even accommodated us with having two small babies. They were super helpful and even surprised him with a free dessert. We'll for sure be coming back.
Jak's Grill in Issaquah is definitely a local hangout; a warm, comforting place with great service and a friendly staff. We used to go there all the time but stopped going a few years back due to the quality of the food. Thankfully, we decided to give it another try and we are happy to report that “Jak's back”...the food was perfectly cooked and the service is, once again, superb. For those of you reading this, that do not live in Issaquah or Sammamish, ignore everything I've said and stay away — this place is only for locals. 🤣
Great for, service, and atmosphere. Menu for lunch was somewhat limited, but food was great. Will go for dinner next time.
aks in Issaquah is consistently outstanding! The food is always delicious, the service is top-notch, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. We absolutely love eating here and highly recommend it
This was our third visit to Jak's, and every time the food has been excellent. The only thing we would like to see happen for a more comfortable experience is some padding on the hard wood booth seats. Not sure why restaurants think people want to sit on hard wood while they dine. Perhaps this is in order to get guests to eat and leave more quickly, but other than that we don't really get it. But thanks for a great meal, as always. Our server (don't recall his name, but he was a very friendly male with a bald head) made it a very enjoyable time and he had good honest input regarding the various entree options. He told us the pork chop is huge, and he didn't lie. It was delicious too!
Jaks has excellent food. Pretty pricey with a cheeseburger for $23.00. $75 for a 12oz filet. They could do their customers a favor and update their seating booths to have padding.
Jak's always delivers. Excellent steaks, sauces, apps and salads. The desserts are excellent too. It was very busy when we were there, the place was hopping, and the server was a bit short, and matter-of-fact with with us. But overall, a solid experience.

Our server Silvia was amazing! She made our anniversary dinner even more special 🩷 Will come back again and request her! Thank you
Server was not attentive. Paid more attention to an 8 top versus my wife and I. Took 25 minutes to get a drink order placed after waiting 10 minutes for a 6pm reservation.
My family have been going to Jak's in Issaquah for around 20 years. For the first 10 plus years, the hamburger and fries were the best burgers and fries around but for the last 2-3 years the quality of this meal has diminished. The hamburger is less flavorful. There are less fries included and they were tough, not particularly crispy. We asked that our burgers be cooked medium rare but all of them came out medium to well done. When we pointed this out to our server, she just chuckled. She also argued with us over the onion ring flavor. We had asked for plain, didn't want the usual BBQ seasoning, but when we tasted them, all 4 of us tasted BBQ. Last night's meal was so disappointing that we will look elsewhere for a good burger. At $30/burger after tax and tip, we were more than disappointed, we were irritated.
