First evening customer for a Saturday dinner. Crab cakes, steak, as well as mashed potatoes all luke warm at best (good flavor as usual). Bread slightly dry. Baked potato piping hot was great. It was as if the food was pre cooked. I've been to Jak's many times prior, never having this experience.

Several tables observed with bread but not offered to us by our server. Menu options reduced to only one size filet mignon. Only one side included and an extra charge for loaded baked potato. Wedge salad was not a wedge but diced. What happened to a salad, choice of potato, bread and vegetable included with entree that JaK's offered just a few yrs ago?

Good food choices but wish there was 4 oz steak option. Meat could have been cooked to better temperature but overall good flavors.

Excellent food with excellent service! A really great steak at a really good price. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience there.

Great food, great service, and WAY too noisy. We could not hear our own conversation. Maybe some cushions or upholstery would help keep the din down.

It was super-busy on a Saturday evening, and it took over an hour to get our food, even though we had a reservation and ordered right away when we sat down. The pork chop was delicious, and the baked potato that came with it was fine - just a standard baked potato. My partner's steak salad was good but a bit over-dressed. We had the scallops for an appetizer and the scallops themselves were good, but the curry cauliflower that came with it was odd and didn't go with the scallops at all. We got the cheesecake for dessert, and again while the cheesecake itself was good (pretty standard cheesecake), the oreo crust it was on was very dry and crumbly, and the raspberry sauce it was served with didn't go with the oreo crust at all. The staff were kind and attentive - it was just kind of a so-so meal that took a long time.

We went there for breakfast. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. The Greek egg scramble was yummy—really loved the potatoes.

Making the online reservation was easy, and we were seated a few minutes before our reservation. The service was impeccable, despite the fact that we weren't ordering alcohol or huge steak dinners. Two of us each ordered the burger with a salad, which we actually could have shared, due to their generous sizes. The burger was one of the best I've had in years, and the balsamic bleu cheese dressing (suggested by our server) was scrumptious on the huge salad. The waiter was extremely helpful with one of our party who had dietary restrictions--he offered suggestions and accommodations and followed through with them all. Those who order steaks will definitely run up a large tab here, but it is still safe to go to Jak's if you aren't a big spender and are craving a huge burger and delicious big salad for $23.

The food at Jak's was incredible, as was our server. In our party we ordered several different steaks, the French Dip sandwiches, and the steelhead. Everything was cooked perfectly and left us craving more, even though we were pretty full! The acoustics make conversation a tiny bit difficult but not terrible. If you like SUPER sweet desserts, I'd go for the after dinner drinks instead, especially the Licor 43--delicious! The desserts were good, but not quite sweet enough for me.

Been to Jak's a handful of times over the years. It would be more but its a good 30-45 minute drive from my home. Food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Plenty of parking around which makes it nice. When in the Issaquah area its a great spot for grabbing a bite with family or business.

Pre-play dinner for my mom's 71st birthday. Amazing dinner, personable server and a sweet treat to celebrate her birthday. Thank you so much for a wonderful night!

Everything from start to finish was fantastic! Delicious food and great service! A tad bit noisy but otherwise a lovely dinner.

Absolutely wonderful! We went for my husband‘s birthday, and they even accommodated us with having two small babies. They were super helpful and even surprised him with a free dessert. We'll for sure be coming back.

Jak's Grill in Issaquah is definitely a local hangout; a warm, comforting place with great service and a friendly staff. We used to go there all the time but stopped going a few years back due to the quality of the food. Thankfully, we decided to give it another try and we are happy to report that “Jak's back”...the food was perfectly cooked and the service is, once again, superb. For those of you reading this, that do not live in Issaquah or Sammamish, ignore everything I've said and stay away — this place is only for locals. 🤣

Great for, service, and atmosphere. Menu for lunch was somewhat limited, but food was great. Will go for dinner next time.
