This place was great! I got the chicken and beef teriyaki. I thought the portion sizes were great for the price and also very tasty! Owner is very polite, hospitable and attentive.

My husband and I found this little hidden gem while we were heading home from spending the afternoon at the lake. The restaurant is located in a downtown area with cute quaint shops and eateries. There is a decent amount of parking in the lot right next to the building. We came here on a Tuesday evening which apparently is one of their slowest days of the week. The owner is a very kind Japanese man who also made our sushi. We ordered the Seattle roll, five color fish roll, a few types of nigiri sushi and the hamachi sashimi combo. However, prior to our meal, the chef/owner gave us each a small garden salad as an appetizer. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. As if that wasn't enough, upon clearing our table after our meal, the chef/owner gave us a few complimentary slices of watermelon to help cleanse the pallet. The ambiance was very clean and cozy with a good amount of seating to accommodate many customers. The prices are very reasonable. Overall, we truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming when whenever we are in the area.

10 out of 10! This is a hidden gem. It’s touted as a teriyaki place but it’s the sushi I come for. I have been here several times and it never has more than one or two people inside. The sweet man who I assume owns it is always here and seems to delight in making my delicious sushi.

Unfortunately food was disappointing. We had 3 kinds of teriyaki: prawn, chicken and beef. Meat was not grilled. Chicken was in pieces cooked (not grilled) with sauce over it. Beef was extremely salty, not grilled, with just sauce over it, same with the prawns. Prices were high. Not impressive.

Best sushi I’ve had in years, the fish is so fresh and the man serving us was so kind. Absolute joy dining here, it’s very cozy and peaceful, if you want a calming atmosphere on a busy street come here.

I’m also know for have a very sensitive stomach and I had no problems with the food here, everything tastes homemade and rich in texture. Amazing.

Cute and modest little place with actually reasonable prices and really delicious food! And the teriyaki chicken is NOT DRY THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!! Cooked to perfection and served hot! Broccoli salad is so much better than the lettuce version! 100/10
