Best sushi we’ve had over the last year throughout our travels. Amazing teriyaki chicken and Goza. The service is amazing also.

This place is run by the sweetest old dude. Spicy chicken teriyaki or tofu yakisoba. This food doesn't absolutely swim in grease, love it.

Very simple food. Not breaking any barriers in new cuisine. Solid Tereyaki, Soba & Sushi. Plus served by a very kind old Japanese man who has run this restaurant for over 20 years. Decor is simple and clean. Great for a casual date night.

We had a wonderful lunch at Japan Ginger. The service was excellent and the sushi was very fresh. Our favorite roll was the five color fish roll. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will return!

This place was great! I got the chicken and beef teriyaki. I thought the portion sizes were great for the price and also very tasty! Owner is very polite, hospitable and attentive.

My husband and I found this little hidden gem while we were heading home from spending the afternoon at the lake. The restaurant is located in a downtown area with cute quaint shops and eateries. There is a decent amount of parking in the lot right next to the building. We came here on a Tuesday evening which apparently is one of their slowest days of the week. The owner is a very kind Japanese man who also made our sushi. We ordered the Seattle roll, five color fish roll, a few types of nigiri sushi and the hamachi sashimi combo. However, prior to our meal, the chef/owner gave us each a small garden salad as an appetizer. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. As if that wasn't enough, upon clearing our table after our meal, the chef/owner gave us a few complimentary slices of watermelon to help cleanse the pallet. The ambiance was very clean and cozy with a good amount of seating to accommodate many customers. The prices are very reasonable. Overall, we truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming when whenever we are in the area.

10 out of 10! This is a hidden gem. It’s touted as a teriyaki place but it’s the sushi I come for. I have been here several times and it never has more than one or two people inside. The sweet man who I assume owns it is always here and seems to delight in making my delicious sushi.
