The food was phenomenal, and left a warmth in my stomach that reminded me why I love curry so much. The rice had a beautiful garnish of peas that made it look super appetizing, and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The service was great. The waiter checked on us regularly, but not too much, and he was super polite and classy. The atmosphere was wonderful with beautiful decorations and ambient music. The dishes were beautiful and fancy.

First off, the restaurant is beautiful. It’s well designed and each table feels nice and private.

Secondly, the food is INCREDIBLE. We love trying different Indian restaurants when we travel. As an Indian I’ve had tons of great food over the years but Maharaja hands down takes the top spot. We got butter chicken, vegetable biriyani, saag paneer, raita, and samosas and the bill was only $75. I expected it to be way more.

I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back when we visit again.

Maharaja in Issaquah is where great ambience meets perfect Indian flavors.
The interiors are modern, clean, and welcoming, with greenery and warm lights that make you want to stay a little longer.

The food? Spot on.
Hakka noodles were perfectly stir-fried, slightly spicy, and full of wok-tossed magic - a solid 5/5.

Achari soya chaap was packed with bold, tangy flavors, perfectly cooked and served on a sizzling platter - easily another 5/5.

Samosas had a crispy, flaky crust with a mild potato-peas filling, great for kids but a bit plain for spice lovers 3.5/5.

The dahi papdi chaat was crunchy, refreshing, a sweet tangy explosion 5/5.

They give a side of chutneys - the mango one has my heart.

Service is quick and servers are friendly.

Final verdict? If you’re in Issaquah and craving Indian food - this is a must-visit. We will back to try more dishes especially all the curries.

This was a great experience, first time In here. Vegetable Samoas were nice and flaky, with all of the side sauces that they gave us. We also got the cheese naan, paneer saag and butter chicken which all complemented each other! One thing that really made the experience was the remodel and cleanliness !

Bring your family, your partner and your friends really great and service and atmosphere!

The food here is incredible! I come from the UK where we have a lot of great Indian cuisine and this is probably the best I have had in the US. 10/10! Delicate spices, fresh ingredients and each curry tastes unique, just as it should be. They also very recently renovated and it is BEAUTIFUL inside! Come here to enjoy a delicious and fresh meal, with great ambience and wonderful attentive service, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Maharaja! Keep up the good work, we’ll be back :)
