Super chill and relaxing place. Food and drinks are always good. Kid likes the kailua pork. We don't go out to eat a ton, but this place is one of the few in our rotation.

Always a great site for drinks, food and very family friendly too for all ages until l000PM. Hawaiian/Polynesian decorations are beyond great and the food be it Hawaiian based or Sushi based with a really nice Sushi counter there too, is beyond awesome. Plus, I love the Karaoke Friday nights where it is nice to sing with children and or enjoy how talented many of our young ones are. I have not experienced family karaoke one night a week since Shakey's pizza in Burien used to do it 20 to 30 years ago. Trust me, if if you're single, or a fun, nice place to eat, excellent service, staff and good food, check it out.

Love this place! It's got a "family-owned" feel to it. Staff + service has always been excellent every time we've come. My favorite dish is the chicken katsu. Portions are pretty big as well which is awesome.

My uncle, aunt, and I stumbled upon this gem for our first dining experience, and we're already singing its praises. The Hawaiian-style customer service radiated the Aloha Spirit, creating an atmosphere that felt like a warm welcome. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that this place had something special to offer. The food was nothing short of excellent, with a menu that showcased a delightful variety. The Bento box, Katsu, Chicken Teriyaki, and BBQ Pork were all flavorful and satisfying. What made the dining experience even more memorable was the fabulous and friendly staff. Their attentiveness and great service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. The prices were reasonable, making it a win-win situation. Needless to say, we're already making plans for our next visit. If you're in the mood for delicious food served with a side of genuine Aloha vibes, this place is a must-try!

Food was excellent. Prices normal for the post inflation world, that is too high for me.But no worse the any other restaurant, and the food was great.Service was great, attentive but not intrusive.A go to place.

Pekelo and the staff are fabulous and friendly. Their Hawaiian style of customer service displays the Aloha Spirit. In addition to the delicious food, Kalei and friends played hawaiian music while we dined. It reminded me of the music my grandmother would sing.

We almost didn't come here because of the rating. But after reading through the reviews, I didn't see anything concerning so we decided to give this place a shot. I was so excited, since the latest tiki bar I loved, No Bones, closed after the pandemic. Parking was very accessible within the strip mall. It looked so cheerful from the outside with their Christmas lights! Stepping in, we were immediately greeted with tons of vibrant tiki decor, which stretched up to the vaulted ceiling that made the place seem large and airy. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was kind and very on top of our questions and needs. I did ask her for advice on a specialty drink that wasn't too too sweet, but she wasn't sure. I like to ask the servers about their recommendations based on their own (or other patrons' feedback), so this would be one thing I missed. I went with the Mango Madness and it was perfection. We ordered the poke appetizer, Chicken katsu kids meals, and three sushi rolls. The poke was so tender and buttery, and the taro chips were full of flavor. The kids' meals were such an excellent value: for $11.99 it came with the meal, rice, veggies, a cup of miso soup, a drink, and ice cream for dessert. Although the rolls took a bit to arrive, our waitress kept us informed on their status and they were fresh, flavorful, and totally hit the spot. Afterwards, our waitress offered to walk our kiddo over to tape up her coloring sheet on the wall - they were covered with other happy crayon-filled contributions. **And honorable mention to the live music man - he played his guitar tunes like Margaritaville and Bob Marley. It was the perfect touch to warm us up during these cold winter months. We will definitely be back!

I just got back from visiting home (Honolulu) and my girlfriend had FOMO because she couldn’t come so we got food here. We got the regular chicken katsu. Having recently had OG L&L (the Liliha one) I’d say the quality here is similar, the price is almost double, and the quantity is half. See the picture. That’s before we took anything out. It also didn’t come with katsu sauce. So the food we got was almost a 400% markup from the one back home when you factor in price and quantity. Everyone back home thinks the mainland is cheaper. ?

I usually love their rolls but am very disappointed in how the sushi has been shrinking in size and the prices gone high. I might as well go to the fish market and make my own now. It’s disgraceful how tiny the hamachi on the roll was it is literally the size of a quarter and just as thin! WTH? I’ll just go to Kuzma at Mount LakeTerrace and buy my ahi and hamachi there. At least I will get a decent portion for the price and make it myself. Sadly I will not return here again just out of disappointment and feeling ripped off as a customer!

Very much a tiki bar! Atmosphere is amazing, so fun and lively. Our waitress was very kind and upbeat. Food was ok, but drinks were INCREDIBLE! So cute and tasty. We had a lot of fun here. We will go elsewhere for sushi, but will definitely be back for drinks.

The first time the food was great, this time it was not so great. We got the bento boxes both times- this time the salads were not so refreshing, not sure if it's a couple of days old or what. The meats were good, was really looking forward to eating the salads.
