Don’t understand the high ratings - we went in last night for dinner. The miso soup and ramen were outrageously salty. The chicken karage js so dry and stiff. The sushi is also stale and cost almost $5 a piece. We Apple paid and the server was so nervous that we aren’t paying and practically stopped us half way towards her.

I got the katsu chicken ramen. The soup flavor was bland. Not much to it. The katsu chicken was cold, dry & also tasted bland. Katsu sauce wasn't good. Portion was very small for the price. They wanted to charge extra for ingredients on the side, ridiculous. The staff was nice, no issues with service or wait times on food. However, there are far better ramen places in the area for equal price or less, and the portions are larger.

The food here is delicious. The service is good. The prices are also reasonable. The one thing that would make this restaurant better would be removing the To Go boxes that are all over the bar. It gives off the vibe of a fast food restaurant and makes the bar look unwelcoming. Overall, this is a solid restaurant though.

Overall, it was a decent place to eat. The service from the staff was top-notch. The food tasted good. However, I wouldn't give it 5 stars when it comes to the food. Here is why.

I ordered agedashi tofu. It was good except it was missing radish garnish to add a soft spiciness. Then I ordered tempura udon. The soup was a bit on the salty side, and the noodles were slightly (25%) undercooked, giving them a bit of a solid bite. The problem with salty soup and undercooked noodles is that when it is no longer fresh and hot, it gets saltier, and the noodles feel harder to chew than when they first came out.

Food are good portion and reasonable, but way too oily and salty. The atmosphere and service was quite good, but their food do not live up to their high rating.

My husband ordered ramen noodles soup and Las Vegas sushi roll and I ordered 2 rolls of sushi. Served brought soup and I had to watch him eat and waited for my rolls for another 10 minutes. They should bring food for both visitors at the same time. My rolls were very poor for the price we paid. Server was not friendly.
This used to be our favorite place to eat, but not anymore. Would not go there again and would not recommend to anyone.

It was alright. The service was really good and the staff were friendly. Personally for me and my partner, we weren't too big of fans of the ramen. I found it a bit too salty, and my partner was not a fan of the sweet corn in it. But that's just our personal preference. According to my partner, the takoyaki was not the best either since they said that the octopus was too chewy in comparison to the dough. But it wasn't horrible tasting. I might go again, and the location is nice and close to home, but not sure if I would get the ramen again due to my own preferences with ramen. I haven't tried the other food, but other tables did seem to enjoy the other menu items

An amazing Ramen shop right in the heart of Issaquah. The 5 alarms ramen is worth trying. If you are a vegetarian, have the vegan tan tan and you will thank me later. Also, if you are unsure of spicy the food may be, go for spice level 3 and you will enjoy a nice level of zing and spice. Also tried their hokkaido iced tea and it has some distinct peculiar taste, something which can be skipped.
The servers are super friendly and the service is efficient. Ambience is good.
All in all, a great go to ramen shop.
