This charming little shop is a delight, but the noise level is quite high, making it difficult to converse. The food is decent, with the savory dishes standing out while the desserts leave a bit to be desired. Our pies were undercooked, which was a disappointment. However, the tea selection is impressive, and the tea lattes are delicious. Our waitress was exceptional, providing excellent service and a warm smile.
The tea and food were delicious. The waitress did not check in that often. The only issue I had was that it was so loud with the food processor and stan mixers, deliveries happening and staff talking loudly I could hardly hear my grandma talking. Would come back for take away but the noise level and ambiance ruined the experience.
This was our second visit. Love the ambiance—Gilman Village with lots of English tea house tchotchkes. The tea selection is extensive. The food is delicious. I cannot think of any that would enhance the experience.
It was wonderful to find such a lovely place on a rainy day! This charming tea house is cozy in every detail — every little thing creates a warm, fairy-tale atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more enjoyable.
I will definitely come back here with my friends. It’s amazing that God created us in such a way that we can enjoy delicious food and good company — because this is so important and so needed in our daily lives!

its so relaxing and calming. the rotating menu is also refreshing even though i wish some of the items were permanent ;p i love everything about this place. i do wish there were more comfortable chairs so i could spend the whole day there and eat non-stop!
The food and tea is so good here. Had this heart shaped scone with clotted cream and it was glorious. The decor is beautiful and always in season. Can't recommend this place enough! 💜
I took my teenage daughter to tea to celebrate her birthday. While it was a pleasant enough experience, I did not think it was worth the $80 per person I paid. We had a reservation and were seated at a shared table. There was a barrier/screen across the middle of the table and two women were at the other end of our table. I asked if it might be possible to have a non-shared table, but the server said they were too busy to offer a different table. There is a good selection of teas and both my daughter and I enjoyed our choices. The food was nicely presented on a tiered tower. We liked the sandwiches, scones, and fruit but both agreed the sweets were not great, which was a bit disappointing for a birthday celebration. We were served a lavender macaron, a ginger cupcake with a weird bitter chocolate icing, and a small pear tart. They did put a candle in my daughter's cupcake and the server wished her a happy birthday. The room was uncomfortably warm (maybe because it was so busy?). I felt cramped sitting at the shared table. The server for the ladies at the other side of our table had to keep squeezing back and forth behind me. The shared table made it feel less "fancy" and more casual, which is not aligned with the amount of money they charge for tea service. My daughter enjoyed her special birthday tea, but I sadly didn't feel it was worth the price. I'd suggest visiting when they are less busy to have a better experience.
The cutest tea room with a robust selection of teas. The in-house made small bites are delicious. Reasonable price for the afternoon teas compared to other Seattle tea rooms. Will most definitely be back!
Everyone was super kind, informative, friendly, and welcoming! The food was outstanding. We ordered the towers for 4 adults and 1 child. Our server took pictures of all of us at the table which turned out perfectly. We will be back in the very near future!!
If you enjoy tea, you HAVE to go here. They have such a wide variety of loose leaf! Their rose oolong tea I tried, really loved it. I also appreciate the sample tea of the day by the entrance. The caramel oolong did taste a little sweet. Worth taking a stop. It’s very cute inside, and smelled amazing. They have also put on tea parties that sounded like substantial amounts of food! They also have gluten free macarons. :)

I am new to visiting tea houses and was excited to try this quaint establishment in Issaquah. From the moment i stepped in I was greeted warmly and treated graciously by all staff. The food was amazing and the star of the show was an Apple 🍎 pie Bellini which I hope stays on the menu for ever!
We had a great time today!! We made the hour and a half drive because I won a facebook contest, and I will for sure be back. All the food was so tasty, we loved the variety. My favorite part was the atmosphere, and everyone who worked there!! They all were so nice, and seemed liked they genuinely enjoyed working there. It was cool being able to see them rolling dough, and mixing teas.
Very generous portions of an excellent variety of tea treats from finger sandwiches to chocolate pudding. Even fresh fruit. They allow guests to change teas.
Absolutely delightful afternoon tea experience! The service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Our server even offered to take photos, which added such a personal touch. The food was delicious and plentiful, with a generous selection of teas to match. They thoughtfully provided a gluten-free option for my friends, and we never felt rushed. The decor was charming and cozy, making the whole experience feel extra special. Highly recommend for a relaxed and memorable outing!
Gorgeous space, delicious food, and wonderful staff. Can be a bit pricey, but the walk-up menu for pastries rotates often, so always worth coming back to see what’s new!
