Update: the owner reached out to me to apologize for the situation and comp our experience. I appreciate them trying to rectify the situation. I look forward to going back to Paisley's and having a better experience!

Great place. Came out her to try the tea and service. You each get a pot of tea. I tried milky oolong. They had great touches at the table. Little plates and utensils. Very decorative setting. They have an hourglass timer on table that you flip and this tells you when to pull out the tea bag. The teapot has its own cozy. The sandwiches were divine. Especially like the cumin flavored one. The scones had a savory and plain one with this wonderful cream butter and lemon curd. The dessert cupcake was awesome but not the other cake. Would come again.

Such a cute little place that my boyfriend and I stumbled upon! The tea was delightful, everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful, and the scone with cream was yummy! I loved looking at all the teapots- each corner has something artful to enjoy. Will be coming back soon!

We loved our experience here. Came for my daughter's third birthday. Make reservations in advance. Everyone gets their own pot of tea. Food was plentiful and we could not finish it. Cute ambiance and very friendly service. I would recommend this place for afternoon tea. It's a little cheaper than the afternoon tea in Bellevue (FogRose Atelier) but more food. Also the space is bigger which is like. If I had to choose I'd probably pick this place. Since it was my daughter's birthday they added a candle to a cream puff which was a nice touch. They don't have high chairs so be prepared if you bring a baby!

This was my first experience and won't be my last. Absolutely adorable and thoughtfully curated place, and delicious in-house baked goods as part of the tea tray assortment. So many details to enjoy, beyond the outstanding assortment of tea.

Charming location that makes you feel like you've stepped into a doll house. The scones were great and the food was presented beautifully, but the sweet options were quite simple for the price. Nice range of tea options.

Such a cute tea shop! Loved the tea options, and all the food and desserts were delicious. We had three vegetarians in our party who were all well accommodated! The hummus sandwich was particularly tasty, and we were very impressed with the homemade scones.

A friend and I originally planned on meeting at a nearby cafe, but after seeing how busy it was, we decided to walk over to Paisley's Tea Room out of convenience. And WOW am I glad we did! The moment I walked in the door I was just in shock at how cute and aesthetic everything was! There must have been something in the air because it was a rare Seattle sunny day in Winter and the sun was beaming in illuminating all the white inside the tea room. Immediately in front, you're greeted by the nicest pastry case and a beautiful arrangement of dried flowers hanging from above. Note to you readers, if you want to ensure you get the whole tea experience with the small bites, I definitely recommend making a reservation. We were asked if we had a reservation, which obviously we did not. Thankfully the employees let us sit at a table with our tea since there was some time before the next reservation came; and the tea and pastries could've easily been taken to-go. If you're driving to Paisley's Tea Room, it shares a parking lot with a lot of the local businesses. I arrived around 10am on a Saturday and I found parking; but I noticed how quickly the lot was starting to fill, and an hour later the lot seemed almost full. I definitely want to make another visit to Paisley's Tea Room. The Caramel Rose Latte I had was delicious and I want to try their other drinks and pastries! Check them out if you're looking for afternoon tea, or just meeting up with a friend!

The inside of the tea room is beautiful! Small dried flowers hang on the ceiling and tea pots like the shelves. It is peaceful, quaint, and charming! We ordered a pot of tea, scone, and a tea latte. We didn't have a reservation for high tea, so we had to sit outside on metal chairs. Fortunately, it was not too cold or rainy, but it was a surprise that was unclear until we got our food and beverages. I'd recommend for ambiance and experience, but prices are high for tea.

So happy we have afternoon tea in Issaquah! Everything was really fresh, tasty, and (the ultimate compliment) NOT TOO SWEET. I had the rose oolong tea, which was really good. It was fun to meet the new owner and learn more about where the teas are sourced from, and that the menu changes seasonally.Cozy ambiance. Would definitely come back for events or just for a treat!

The food and pastries are delicious and we enjoyed the selection of teas. Our food came out about 30 minutes after our arrival which we were fine with as we were able to sip our tea and relax. Service was excellent but we did feel rushed at one point (we had only been there for an hour and were still eating) when they brought out the bill for us. There seemed to be a wait for other reservations so we tried our best to hurry after that. The room does get very muggy and hot. There doesn't seem to be much ventilation.

I love this tea place! Interior so airy and bright lingers with fragrant delight of the pastries. Service is fantastic. You will be greeted once you entered the door and everyone working here are very personable. I love the beautiful displays of pastries. Scones are delightful light and fluffy. Assortments of cookies are also delicious. The tea services which you will need to make reservation for is also delicious. The tea selections are amazing. My all time favorite is rose oolong, jasmine pearl, matchai latte and London fog. Location sits in the back of Gilman village. There are mostly plenty of parking around. Very convenient while in town to swing by for picker uppers. Lovely owner that matches the beautiful place. One of my must go places in Issaquah.

This was the first time going to the tea room and we had a lovely time! The ambiance was perfect and really set the tone for a quaint experience. Lunch was delicious and very filling and I appreciated each person gets their own tea pot so you don't have to have the same kind of tea. I will definitely be coming back!

I have been having tea in different tea rooms for many years. I am so glad to find this wonderful gem tucked away in Gilman Village. This was my granddaughters first time at tea, and this was the best I have ever had anywhere in this area. Staff were excellent, and the food and tea were wonderful. We are now making reservations for our next time.

Seemed like short staffing or inexperienced staff who could have been better at getting reservations situated before taking walk-in orders. Communication between staff right in front of patrons was somewhat unprofessional, and it took about 30 mins from the time we got there (a couple mins before our reservation time) to get sat and to even order our tea. We had a last minute reservation that might have contributed to the staff not being prepared for an extra service. Once the food and tea came it was pleasant and the service was better. It's definitely a lower class tea establishment, with mismatched china, seating, and decor. I have paid roughly the same at other tea places for a better ambiance, higher quality experience. Tea was good, and food was good, bread was a little dry but scones were to die for.
