This particular Safeway is Always off. Their delivery is terrible. The customer service is unbelievable! I called to tell them I was overcharged and Patrick used the "F" word twice and hung up on me. The produce I receive from this store (not Maple Valley) is always questionable. I would Really love if corporate would consider using Maple Valley as a delivery store for it's residents. Issaquah Clearly does not care or they are extremely overwhelmed. Ok. Rant over. If corporate would like to discuss this further please feel free to contact me. You have my number.
6/17/24 There were no carts at the store's east entrance and the area was a mess. The shelves throughout the store were a third or so empty. The very young and only checker working was more interested in his phone than in the card reader working correctly. He has no clue how to pack a bag, just dumping things in helter skelter. I've tried to be loyal to this store but I'm losing my desire to do so.
It's Safeway. What else is there to say?
Emma is amazing. Her customer service is on par and makes it great to shop here and somebody told me that she came in today on her day off. She deserves a raise!
Again, I'm incredibly happy about the savings and supply at this safeway. Mostly, I'm so impressed by SEAN who is always working hard. He will go above and beyond to help you and always positive. We need more people in the world like SEAN. Thank you Safeway

Your deli Chinese food gave me the worst food poisoning I've ever had. I'm so angry.
Love this Safeway! The shelves are always well stocked and produce is fresh. My husband and I are big fans of the ready meals up at the front. The flower selection is lovely, and I've had good luck with flowers from here lasting a long time
My grandmother shopped there recently and was treated poorly by a woman named Josephine. She mocked her for being on food stamps, and had a disgusting attitude. What a great way to treat a elderly woman. A man there named Daniel was also awful to her, it’s good to know based on other reviews that I’m not the only one to think so.
Always clean, the staff are friendly. They are also woefully underpaid and overworked.

Disgusting store and manager. They don't follow the laws. If you bought the wrong product and only 2 days have passed, then still no one will return your money or exchange it. And they will force you to buy a second time what you need, and it doesn’t matter that it’s not food. And it costs 25 dollars
Prices are incredibly high, customer service is awesome.
Annoyed because I don’t do the self check out and I will leave my full cart particularly when it’s not busy and no one wants to go to the register. You’re welcome for me leaving those groceries in the cart so you can continue to have a job. As far as Safeways ridiculous forcing of self check out…NOT DOING IT! I’m doing someone else’s job and I’m not getting any discount! I Will go to a competitor every time this occurs. If you waste my time when I’m filling the cart, then you can empty it and return all the items! At least it’s job security for your employees. You are welcome.
UPDATE: Fred Meyer got my $$$ and their prices were much better and I received customer service checking me out! NO SELF CHECK OUT FORCING!!!! Guess who is going to get more of my business from hence forth!
I don't know why some people in the neighborhood group keep saying they have problems at this Safeway. I've shopped there hundreds of times and have had maybe 2 issues (Comparing to Fred Meyer where I run into issues 70% of the time). Overall, the store is clean and well maintained, staff is mostly nice this year. They also honor their coupons/advertised prices/app prices when there are discrepancies.
