The food is absolutely amazing, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is authentic - warm and cozy. What more could you ask for an Italian restaurant to offer. Go for a birthday, and you may be surprised by a couple of songs ?.

SIP is CLOSED! New restaurant in its place is Amarone Ristorante & Bar.SIP was good pre-pandemic but never recovered. The service and food never returned to their former glory. The result is that it CLOSED.

We’ve always loved this place. Tried the new Brunch menu today. Food was good, eggs Benedict was perfect, and omelette also great! Needs Bloody Mary’s on menu. Service was ok, very nice server but timing was a bit off, long absences… we’ve also noticed a lack of attention to detail, bathrooms needed tending, food on the floor, a piece of broken glass in the stonework on the wall and paper taped to bathroom door like nobody knows what WC is, that’s one of kitschy things we love, the weird bathroom! Just needs a little love & attention.

We had a large group and service was slow. They weren't asking if we needed a another glass of wine/beer. Medium Rare ordered but got well done. Atmosphere is good.

Good place for a happy hour and glass of wine in Issaquah. The staff is attentive and offer a great time. We sat at the bar and had a few small bites. Overall, the taste and drinks were good and enjoyable.

Stopped in on a rainy cold night, greeted by hostess and sat next to fire. Place was quiet, but yet busy. You could have a nice conversation and dinner in a really nice atmosphere.

Fernando and team have turned this place around. Been coming here since it originally opened and seen its ups and downs but the last year has seen a dramatic improvement. Can't wait for Amarone in full force. Food is excellent as is service!

I have been going and working at this restaurant for several years now and all it has been is a great experience. The servers have always been super supportive of me, and were very welcoming. they are always working their hardest and providing good customers service. The customers are usually polite and seem to have a good experience. if anyone is looking for a relaxing dinner with amazing food this is an amazing place.

Super creepy and uncomfortable how the older owner puts his hands on the female bar staff. They are obviously uncomfortable and don't like it. I feel so bad for the bartenders. Food was mediocre. We won't be back

This place gets at least one star for ambience and one for service. They are so lovely and accommodating! However, I'm surprised at the positive reviews for this restaurant since every single one of our dishes was lacking in some way. I ordered the halibut. The fish itself was over-salted into oblivion. They then drowned it in a greasy sauce on top of an overly creamy gut bomb of a risotto. Not exactly what I was hoping for with the price point and I could only eat a few bites. The beet salad was saturated with salad dressing, also to the point that it made it inedible. Instead of a light vinaigrette that would've brought out the flavors, it was a very heavy, creamy 80s style salad dressing reminiscent of Thousand island. My husband got Carne Asada and mediocrity abounded there, too. Soggy soft tacos and very little flavor. The "truffle fries" lacked any truffle flavor and were limp and sad. What drove the experience down for us even more was the aftermath. One of us got "exciting" food poisoning and the rest of us just had stomach pain and loose stool. It wasn't something else we ate earlier in the day, so beware if you go. This place is probably phenomenal for wine and small bites that you can't screw up. For the price, I would not order entrées here. Either your taste buds or intestines will be disappointed.

Great personal service and ambience under the new administration. The Italian dishes are authentic and cooked to perfection. The wine list is superb. Looking forward to returning soon.

Unfortunately our server was not interested in our table. We were greeted by her after sitting there for almost 20 minutes. Food was way over cooked and service was absolutely absent throughout. Extremely unfortunate. Management tried to make up for the lack of service. We are glad this place will soon be under new ownership/kitchen/staff. We will be back and looking forward to a new experience.

It was so wonderful to be back dining with the Nardone family! As always they never disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful with a gorgeous fire burning, stunning ambient lighting throughout and a great vibe. The food was superb and I am elated with the announcement that SIP will now be Amarone. There are not many Italian restaurants that Italians truly love the food. Once you try SIP/ Amarone this will be a restaurant that will be a favorite!

We use Sip as a neighborhood bar we walk up to regularly. The clams and french fries and sliders were all fantastic. Our service could've been better, they got really busy and we went 49 minutes without anyone coming to our table to check on us for drinks or water or to see if we needed anything after they cleared our plates. We also waited 25 minutes after our server dropped off the check before she came back to grab it despite walking by our table multiple times. Neither will stop us from returning again, because we know this thing happens with them fairly frequently, and we always make sure we have plenty of time when we go there for drinks or dinner. Tonight, we had 4:30 reservations and didn't leave the restaurant until 7:20 PM. Fun environment, just don't go there if you are trying to make a movie or get back at a certain time for a babysitter.
