Had my wedding rehearsal dinner here. The owners are absolutely awesome and totally sweet! The food was soo tasty and that brisket! I could rave about the brisket all day! The bark was so flavorful and it was sooo soft and juicy! I will definitely be going back. New favourite BBQ place in the PNW!!!

Yes, there is good BBQ in the Northwest and you can get it at Stan's. I recommend the pork, the ribs, and the chicken. Come with a big appetite!

Saw this bbq ad on the back of my fred meyer receipt so a good idea after hiking little si trail. Late lunch, just 2 people inside.
Got the general sandwich which is brisket and pulled pork, baked beans and ginger beer. Chopped brisket had tasty rendered fat with smoky meat. Pulled pork had distinct flavor from the brisket so you can taste each meat. Baked beans had a little spice and meat mixed in. Ginger beer cut through it all with a refreshing flavor.
Got there just before the next small crowd of people came in.
Parking was tough on a summer weekday so went around the block once to find parking.

Overpriced and overcooked. Just disappointing really. The brisket was particularly bad, tough and just left you chewing for minutes on end.

Stan’s BBQ catered our wedding, and the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! My family is from Kansas City, and we had many guests from KC at our wedding—everyone was blown away and impressed by how authentic and delicious the BBQ was. We’ve been going to Stan’s since 2005, and under the new ownership, it’s truly been taken to the next level.

If you’re looking for amazing Kansas City–style BBQ, whether for catering or just a casual meal, I can’t recommend Stan’s enough. The food, flavor, and quality are unmatched—definitely a must‑try!

Great BBQ place. Good service too. Really surprised it wasn’t busier on a Friday.

Service was good and fast. The food was pretty good, but I am from Kansas City. So, my expectations are very high. The meat, however, was pretty good. But, I got the baked beans, and they were not great. So overall, it was good. I would come back if here if I was craving bbq in Seattle.

I had the best brisket I've ever had here. I was on my way to do some paragliding and stopped in to grab some lunch. They had it on the table less than five minutes after I ordered. I've never eaten a brisket so flavorful and moist.

The burnt ends were just brisket cut with sauce. Ordered the jalapeño links which were a day old. Having been to KC a 100 times I was disappointed

This place was empty on a Wednesday at 1 P.M., only 3 other people showed up while we were there. The only reason we can think of is the atmosphere and the food prices because everything else was perfect! We ordered a combo plate each. The food was served relatively quickly hot, juicy and well presented.
My wife did end up sending the “Mac and Cheese” back as the pasta was way overcooked to the point of mushiness. The bread is a slice of store sliced bread and not made in house. The baby back ribs were meaty and they gave us both one extra. The brisket was hot, juicy perfectly cooked and smoked. Potato salad was good, but on the sweet side, coleslaw chunky cut but nicely dressed. The sauces provided was a home run, both the sweet and the spicy.
If you are finicky about properly cooked/smoked ribs, this is your go to place! Parking close was easy behind the restaurant, but….unless you are a Kansas City Chiefs football fan, the decor will disappoint and doesn’t prove to be comfortable. Bathroom are OK if you don’t mind unisex. They are a little stingy with the little cups of bbq sauce. And removing charges to your order proves challenging for there computer software. For the money they are charging for this food, some upgrades are in order.

Ordered take-out dinner for two this evening, and everything was excellent. When I called in the order, I spoke to Leif and he was kind, polite, and answered some questions about the food. When I went in for pick-up, Leif greeted me immediately, and he was very hospitable and friendly. I thought he must be the owner because he went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. Rarely do employees go out of their way to take such good care of customers on a take-out order!
The food was delicious! We had the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The BBQ sauces were divine. I liked the hot one the best, as I enjoy a little spice, and it wasn't overly hot. The baked beans tasted like they were slow-simmered in a smoker and had that perfect BBQ flavor.
Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to return!
