This is a decent spot if you’re looking for something in old town Issaquah. The service was great, the atmosphere was good, there were some Christmas decorations on the wall so it added a festive touch. However the cocktails were weak, The food was lacking in flavor, the gumbo was darker than expected and waaaay too spicy but it was good, the beef stroganoff was very disappointing, it didn’t have the typical sour cream based sauce I was looking for, it hardly any sauce and zero flavor, I could only eat a few bites, the flavor was lacking big time and the trout with seasonal vegetables was so-so, the veggies were dry and overcooked, also the water served is not filtered. All in all I could come back and try something else, there’s outdoor seating but no outdoor heaters. So if you’re ok with all the flaws then give it a try!

Best wings I’ve ever had and a really good steak frites that will leave you licking the plate! And their cocktails are also amazing!

Went for lunch and the sandwich selections were good. All four of us enjoyed ourselves. The Root beer was good... Smooth and sweet. We'll be back.
Our favorite local pub, many beers and some ciders on tap, and more. The menu expanded and improved since the kitchen upgrade. Grateful for a few vegan items on the menu like the shepherds pie and vegan burger. Warm, friendly service with a smile.

I quite enjoyed myself at The Ale House, and just because of the ale. Well, maybe it was the ale, but just a little. What impressed me was how The Ale House created outdoor seating without a view of the parking lot. More places should take a lead out of the Ale House book.

My family and I don't come here too often. The food is alright, but constantly surrounded by bugs no matter inside or outside and very loud. I can't hear anything at my own table!

We ordered the BLT with smoked ham and avocado sandwich and the blackberry salad. The rosemary aioli on the sandwich was fantastic. Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired and the place could be cleaned up a bit.

Quality of the food has really gone down hill lately. Portions are much smaller and meat is often overcooked. Just ordered steak frites and they were awful. About half the size as usual and overcooked. Last time this happened I just thought it was a one off but apparently not.

Staff was very friendly, made sure to remember our pups name and bring him a fresh water bowl. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back!
