Service is excellent, very personable. Saganaki could’ve been better and food is Americanized Greek. But still it’s a good Greek option in the area.

This place is really overrated and overpriced as for the food quality they provide.

That was worse moussaka ever, I can't even call it moussaka. Salad also terrible. I just not good at all. Portions are small.

There much better mediterranean places in the area. AVOID.

Greek food wets my appetite. It's aromas, flavors, and taste evoke a feeling of warmth that you can take with you. Tantalus offers the best in the Greek food experience.

Vegetables doesn’t have any taste. Everything else was not the greatest food. Can’t understand why the rank is 4.2…

Tantalus Restaurant in Issaquah is a gem! We dropped by for dinner and were blown away. The Greek salad was crisp and fresh. The gyro was good and served with creamy tzatziki. The souvlaki skewers (we tried both chicken and lamb) were perfectly grilled and seasoned. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back! 

I had an amazing experience at this Greek restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a great evening. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and satisfying Greek cuisine. Can’t wait to go back!

Decided to check this place out on a bored Tuesday evening. Parking was decent.

There was one couple that left as we came in and one person doing take out and one more couple that came in when we were halfway through. Pretty slow for a Tue night.

We all ordered different dishes. The roast leg of lamb was basically meat pulled off some cut, probably leg but was expecting a single piece of lamb, not small pieces. Was just ok. Gyro looked good. Vegetarian moussaka was decent. Lamb shank again was just OK. The lentils soups that came with the dinner was the best tasting of all the items.

Unlikely to go back.

Chicken pesto had no chocken, mostly broccoli. Not good

Delicious food. It's tucked away and not as popular, it seems, as the restaurants up front, but I don't care. This place looks over a little park. I would absolutely go back.

What an awful service experience I had yesterday at a restaurant. The waiter, and I believe he is the owner of the establishment, was disrespectful, rude, unethical, which shocked me and my friends. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. His facial expression from the beginning of taking orders to the end when he brought the checks was so negative towards our group that we did not even know what to think. When I ordered a bottle of beer and he brought it, I told him that we would like to have separate checks, he rudely replied that he would work on it and angrily threw the bottle in the trash, that trash flew in all directions. I would recommend boycotting this place!! I will never go there again and will never recommend this place to my friends!

The service was not only unacceptable but the server who I believe was also the owner was not only rude but incredibly disrespectful toward us ladies.
Definitely NOT going back and I advise others to stay away.

The food is expensive,and there is only a little.
We waited for a long time( like 20~25min), there’s only us and no one else in the restaurant, and when we ask the waiter he answered us very impatiently,

” we are a restaurant, not a fast food express “
and so we wait.
I’m worried about the food safety, they don’t wear gloves when making, and I saw they squeezing lemon juice on my food without washing their hand.

Which is GROSS

I don’t suggest this restaurant, find another one. I’m surprised how this place got a 4 star rating
