Great location , parking is across the main drive in the big parking lot. Watch out for speeding cars. Lots of parking, but not near by.

I've been eating teriyaki in seattle area since the late 1980's. This place is just okay. I had better. Teriyaki itself is 2 stars at best but one thing that make it more flavorful is their creamy garlic sauce. But the price does not justify the what you get. Also, this place lacks customer service as they dont greet you whenever i go there, not so friendly, and somewhat have apathetic attitude. I would only return if I have a craving for teriyaki and this is the only place that is available to eat and maybe possibly for the garlic sauce. But most likely not.

Food was chicken teriyaki. Pretty much when you imagine it, that’s what it was. Nothing special, not that great especially for the price. But no one got sick so…
Service? It’s not great, I looked right in the eyes of at least 3 workers while waiting up at the counter to ask a question and order and everyone just looked back and finally got someone.
The space was also very underwhelming, it has tables and chairs and a horrific bathroom for a restaurant. Nothing for ease of kids. The chairs also not the comfiest.
This is very clearly more of a take out place. And if that’s what you’re goal is that’s awesome. But whatever this was, was actually more stressful to eat at than enjoy.

I have been coming to Terriyaki Bistro for over 3 years now, since I moved to Issaquah. I understand the quality of food will decrease as prices rice, but when I called and talked to the owner,, he told me the super combo number 5 comes with 8-12 pieces of shrimp....they gave me four. I have always tipped genuinely. Not sure if I will continue buying from them
It used to be one of my favorite restaurants but nowadays I feel it's a bit overcharging especially short ribs.

The food was inedible. I ordered wings and they weren’t worthy to sell. It was very insulting to be sold food of such poor quality. I can’t imagine a dish at that level being safe.

This place is fire. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Us Teriyaki enthusiasts know that a great teriyaki experience only comes down to one thing… the food. And the food here is the best teriyaki in the Issaquah area.
First, this is the only place that has the garlic cream sauce. You may come to realize that when it comes to teriyaki, you can’t live without it. It goes with everything and any amount of it improves the dining experience.
Next, the options at this spot are more plentiful than most teriyaki places. Instead of just having chicken and beef, spicy or regular, this place has multiple types of chicken as well as a delicious sandwich option. I believe they have other types of meat as well as like seafood but I could be wrong (never tried them).
Lastly, the chicken itself always tastes great, never too dry in my experience. Some will argue other places have better meat quality and that may be true, but this place is at least a B+ meat wise, with A+ sauce. The rice is perfect as well and helps fill the corners if you’re still hungry.
I don’t care if it’s a bistro, a cafe, a food truck, or a bum on the side of the street. If the food tastes like this, I will keep coming back. 5 stars.

Came here absolutely by chance to have lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The prices are about the same as in similar eateries, but the portions are large.
I recommend it!

Was my go to. I was shocked when they said $18 for a teriyaki chicken. Garlic sauce is good but I can't justify this price for chicken thighs and rice. I will start making more and freezing at home. Yikes. Basic living gets more unaffordable everyday.
Here’s an expanded version:
The sauce is not integrated with the chicken during cooking; it's simply added on top after. While the meat itself is of decent quality, the service is subpar. If you pay close attention, you’ll notice small but telling signs of neglect or lack of care. I’ve visited on three different occasions, all around noon, and each time the experience was consistently underwhelming in terms of service. Despite how busy it gets, don’t let the crowd mislead you—it’s not necessarily a reflection of quality. Personally, I’d prefer to spend my money at Ivar’s, where the experience is more consistent and satisfying overall.
