Great food to be honest. Service was good. The place could use updating and a second bathroom.

Unfortunately, it was so busy that I was given the writing bill and ended up paying for another person's table. Only noticed after I was back home. I live far from Issaquah. I kept thinking my bill should have been around $25 but I was charged $48. Oh well, someone had a cheap bill at my expense.

Food was good enough to go back but next time I'll scrutinize my bill before paying.

So Good!! Highly recommend if you're looking for quality homestyle cooking. Wide variety of classic American food. My favorite has been the breakfast items. The breads: biscuits (like my grandma used to make), muffins, toast are all from a local bakery and OMG they are amazing! Pancakes are huge and delicious! As well as the organic eggs! Everything we've had here have exceeded expectations. The fish and chips are great and taste fresh. Pastas were surprisingly tasty. Every time we come, we try to order something different and every time we are pleasantly surprised! Don't let the simple setting fool you... The taste, portion size and quality are much better than the place would have you believe. And to top it off, the prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend!

Went in and was seated quickly. Place was mostly empty but looked neat and clean. Service was fine. Food was excellent and prices are a bit expensive but good portions to match and pretty much in line with most diners nowadays.

That's this kind of a tough one, and I'm hoping that people report back that things have gotten better. The food was only okay.I had a Rueben sandwich, and my partner had his usual eggs.Benedict , which was not spectacular, not bad. Our friend had a steak skillet and could not add enough tabasco sauce to make it flavorful.

On the service, our original server was actually quite poor. It seems that our order never made it to the kitchen and was quite late in being served. Luckily , there was a nearby server that was in the same area as she was serving, and he actually stepped in. He was spectacular.

I would really love it if this little diner made it as I am a fan of local diners. It is my hope that the restaurant will read this.And understand I gave the rating because they need to step up.They're in a great location, and they should be able to make wonderful money at it. I really wish them luck.

Great American diner is exactly that, a great diner with American food. Very aptly named.

We order from here probably twice a month. Their bacon cheeseburgers are superb and paired with the best fries in Issaquah.

Don't be fooled by the prices, you're getting way more and spectacular quality than you'd expect at such a low price.

Lastly, the entire staff has been the kindest and best we've interacted with. We normally get it to go (two small kids) and they'll hold the door for me while having a toddler on my hip. They're consistently friendly and it feels like family.

Hopefully this helps convince others to become dedicated patrons and brings more success to a staple in our household.

Great family restaurant. What a great place to eat. It was nice and quiet, which we loved. The service was fantastic, they are very friendly and it was nice chatting with the owner. The prices were very reasonable, along with the food. We will definitely be back!!

Id give this place a 5.0 the Cajun fettuccine seafood Alfredo is the best ive had in the whole state. Highly recommend this diner for anyone on an empty stomach, you'll be happy you came.
