Pastries were warm and flaky but my coffee order was all wrong. Only one person working, she grabbed several cups/pitchers from the inside rims, ew. My drink (lg decaf vanilla latte) was made with oat milk and no flavor, not sure if it was decaf or not because I ended up not drinking it. I couldn’t keep it because I have an adrenal disorder and can’t have caffeine. When the cup was handed to me it wasn’t labeled with my name or order, so I had no way of knowing whose or what it was. It was also very hard to get the barista/cashier’s attention to ask to have it remade, as there was a long line.I hope they can turn things around, it’s a really cute place!EDIT: to remove event organizer details

Very cozy interior and atmosphere. Although the food and ingredients quality seems good the prices are too high for what it is. The presentation could be improved.

A Gem with Delicious PastriesI recently visited this place and was thoroughly impressed! The cafe boasts a stunning design that is both eye-catching and inviting. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the pink soft chairs. But the beauty doesn't stop there. No. 96 cafe also offers a delectable selection of baked goods. I tried the mixed berry pie, and it was absolutely divine. The pastry was flaky and buttery, and the filling was bursting with flavor. In addition to the amazing design and food, the cafe's location is also perfect. It's situated in the middle of downtown Issaquah, making it a great place to relax and unwind or to catch up with friends.Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful cafe experience. With its stunning design, delicious pastries, and prime location, it's a true gem!

Very dissapointed. We drove up from Longview, Wa (2.5 hr drive without traffic) and stopped in. everything looked really yummy, a little spendy but wanted to support the small business, my mom got their cinnamon roll for 5-6 dollars, can not remember the exqct price, and it was rock hard. She took a bite and ended up throwing it away. It had to be 3 days old or so because when she took a bite it tasted stale also. Just not a good experience.

I visited this bakery today around the afternoon and selection was sparse and didn’t look great. They didn’t have AC, so it was hot and stuffy inside. Prices weren’t displayed on anything, which is really annoying. Put up prices! Only one person was working, so I had to wait 15 mins before being acknowledged and served. Despite the poor selection, I decided to order a few cake slices, hoping there were more in a refrigerator. Without washing her hands or putting on gloves, the person running the counter pulled 2 slices from a small refrigerator and put them in the box with her bare hands after serving several customers. For the 3rd slice, she then put a half eaten slice of cake sitting on a plate on the counter behind her into another box and handed it to me. After getting a closer look, it was definitely half eaten and had a dark hair in it… disgusting! I gave it back and she threw it in the garbage telling me that was the last slice unless I wanted the one sitting out on display, which looked gross because it had been sitting out in the heat for several hours. I declined. I’ve never been grossed out at a bakery before. Also, the 2 slices of cake I did get were terrible! Really dry and tasteless. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place. Very unsanitary.

I have wanted to meet friends there for coffee and pastries in the morning, but they don't open until 11:00. Their reviews are great but need some morning hours. Maybe open at 9:00

Kristen is wonderful and I enjoyed a great meal with a friend with a great pot of tea. Go for Milk Oolong and Avocado Toast!

I was pleasantly surprised to come across this cute little cafe. It is a women owned business-Kristen (one of the owners) was very nice and informative of her products. It reopened in Jan 2024. I stopped by for some pastries and was impressed with the selection of vegan and vegetarian options. I love the dainty decor and fancy tea sets. There is a HUGE selection of teas not seen anywhere else in the area. Every Thursday is half off mimosas all day! There is a special if you buy 3 or more pastries it’s only $10 and there’s also a loyalty rewards program. I love the fancy tea pots, in fact you have the option to have a pot brewed and served with those pots and tea set. I tried a few pastries and my favorite was the lavender croissant, it was so flaky and buttery, I tried their signature tea called the Queens Guard I found the flavor to be too strong and perfume like but the smell is so nice. All in all not a bad place to go for a girly girls day out! Happy International Women’s Day!!Parking: There is plenty of parking behind the building.
