My first time at the Kelso Dairy Queen was on December 14, 2025. The food was good, but unfortunately the service was not. The staff was rude to customers and openly gossiping, including making fun of a coworker and laughing at them. It created a very uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere, especially for a workplace. Overall, it was a disappointing experience despite the quality of the food.

Rushed to get to DQ by 8:40 which is 20 minutes before dining room and 50 minutes before drive thru closes yet we sat at drive thru with four other cars and staff didn't say a word or help anyone. Very disappointing and you should post online you are closing that early so we could have gone to a different one before they closed.

Went there about 8 pm on a Saturday, and there was a huge line in the drive thru, going into the road. So much husband went inside. When he was in there, the guy at the counter helped the couple in front of him and gave them their ice cream, then looked at my husband and walked away. Ok, maybe he had to help with the drive-thru. Well, about 15 mins go by, and my husband can clearly see 3 guys standing by the drive-thru window just standing and talking. Goes on for about 5 more minutes until another woman walks in, and one of them sees two people people standing there, so then they come and help them. It didn't seem like they were in too much of a hurry to do their job. I'd understand if it took a while because they were helping the drive thru, but no, they were just standing around talking.

I'm just frustrated with the fact that I come here 3 times a week and get the same thing and they almost always get it wrong even though I write it down every time. All I ever want is a blue raspberry misty freeze. It's always just the slush part. Or they put the ice cream in and don't blend it! Always have to have them fix it. What the hell. I have throat cancer and this is one of the few things I can have. Please get it right. I was ready to scream when they got it wrong again tonight!

Always closing way to early. Earlier than what corporate says to. Dairy queen is one of the cheaper options to order on doordash so I usually order here when I can but normally dinner time is around 8pm but they always close before that or even before 9pm which is when they're supposed to close. Theyre unreliable and usually give tiny peices of food anyways. I wouldnt waste your time or money here
