Food is cooked to order and fresh. Best burgers in Cowlitz County. The staff are friendly and hard working. The atmosphere is laid back and has the feeling of being in the country. The price of a burger is cheaper than fast food and the quality is amazing. Worth the drive 10 minutes from Kelso or Castle Rock.

I went the to watch the Seahawks game and to have the Lone Fir burger I have heard so much about. I got in and the game was on and the lady behind the bar said the bar was closed. Now it is 1:30 and I asked the lady what time did the bar open and she said 2:00 , I said are you kidding... And left...

We stopped as a group of 5 after spreading gravel. They got busy right after we arrived, but the bartender still kept up with everyone, and was very nice. The beer was nice and cold. The food took awhile and arrived in stages, but that's to be expected with only two staff and a limited kitchen. The Seahawk game was on, so we were happy to wait a bit. Our only issue was the parking. We had our F-250, so it was tight parking next to the road. Best to bring a smaller vehicle if you have the option.

ZERO STARS ✨ Declined service for having a PA license. My partner and I informed the bartender we would be having a drink and ordering food. The bartender took our IDs to the back and said she needed to “check her books”. After disappearing in the back for five or more minutes the bartender came out and refused us service- stating “they are not familiar with the licenses and that LCBA comes into that bar constantly”. So I asked to speak to the owner. The owner came out and explained that she didn’t understand our REAL ID process in PA or why our license said Real ID. This is a process that allows people in bordering states to Canada and Mexico to travel without having a passport. Overall if this business was serious about the LCBA or worried about this issue, then they should be familiar with characteristics of all IDs. Being from Washington doesn’t give you an excuse. People are moving to this state from all over.I am incredibly disappointed in the service we received. The bartender was rude and didn’t communicate efficiently. That is an incredibly uncomfortable feeling being from somewhere else and having someone take your ID behind closed doors. The owner was not functioning in a professional manner.
